  • He Left Before the Abortion

This post has been submitted anonymously by a Datingish reader.

My boyfriend and I were together for three years... off and on. Eventually things broke off and we continued to talk and hangout, but with me attending college in a different place... things got difficult. We were hanging out like we usually do and he just seemed to think it was okay to talk to me and different girls at the same time.

Not to be selfish but I quickly said to him, "If you wanna talk to other girls that's fine but I'm not gonna be one of the few." He then said, "Fine" and stopped talking to me. I found out I was pregnant a few weeks later. More Here...

  • Live Lip-Dub Proposal

There's a video making its way around the Internet of a very well thought out (and if I may say, absolutely adorable) proposal.

I admit, I teared up a bit. The amount of time spent on this moment really moves me. I find it incredibly endearing he would go to such lengths to pop the question.

If you're married, how did your proposal go? If you're single or still in a fresh relationship, how do you envision your proposal going (that is, if marriage is your cup of tea...)?
  • How Should I React?

I was in a relationship with the woman of my dreams from 2009 to 2011. She broke up with me because of naked pictures of a few of my exes who were sending them to me during my relationship with her. I would leave notes that were not appropriate for a man being in a monogamous relationship.

I was never going to cheat on her and to this very day I have not, but she says this is cheating as well so she broke it off with me. For months I was crying and constantly calling her until she finally said not to contact her again. For three weeks I did not call.

There was a bad hail storm in the city where she lives. (Long distance relationship--she is in Missouri and I'm in Illinois.) I was not going to call her but my mom said call her to see if she is okay. I did. Since that call, we have been working things out. We are having sex again and saying I love you to each other again. She had blocked me from all social sites and still hasn't added me back yet but she still has my family members as friends.

My sister gave me her Facebook password so I can freely visit her page and see what she comments or posts. She often only post quotes and when she comments, it's nothing more than a "Hahaha! LOL!" and other innocents. I always see this personal trainer of hers tagged. Her friends refer to him as the "smoking hot guy!" More Here...

  • Dating for 5 Weeks, Leaving for 2 Months

This post has been submitted by a Datingish reader.

I met a girl and we have been hanging out pretty regularly over that time.  Some intimate times--lots of hugging and kissing.  When I met her, she knew I was going away for awhile and it didn't seem to stop us from continuing on.  But now it is a week before I leave and it seems like she is pushing away.

I am trying to get closer and spend as much time with her as I can before I leave. I am not sure what is going to happen while I am gone; I'm sure we will still keep in touch, but two months is a long time. More Here...

  • I'm a Little Psycho....

Okay, so let me take this from the very beginning.

My mom and I have been to hell and back together. My step-dad was a police officer and he was very controlling. Towards the end of their marriage he was very manipulative, cheated and had police come to the house to physically remove my mother and me. His knowledge of the law to put us through hell. More Here...

  • Facebook's Cheap Wedding Ring

Priscilla Chan married into serious money in Mark Zuckerberg’s back garden over the weekend.
She seems happy with her husband’s custom designed ruby wedding ring, but Facebook’s owner has been slammed for being cheap.

Grazia Daily reported the ring is estimated to be worth a “measly” $25, 000. My God, what a pathetic ring that must be. What a poor bride. More Here...

  • Flicking the Bean and Beating the Meat

Most of my friends know that I'm fairly open and comfortable talking about ... well, pretty much anything. From phone sex, to helping them with sultry things to say to an SO, to what would be the best vibrator: I'm the go-to girlfriend.

I have friends that are just as open as I am about personal sexual habits or curiosities. Then I have those that are a bit hush hush about it... but don't seem to mind when I complain that I'm out of batteries.

  • Rules for Taking a Break

Let me start by saying that this is a very perplexing topic for most couples. If you're the person requesting a break then this may be a tad bit easier for you than it is for the other person.

If you feel you need a break:

    1. You must make sure that you truly feel like there is a possibility that you want to be with the person. If you feel like your problems cannot be worked out it's pretty obvious that a break isn't going to help. You should probably just eject yourself from the relationship, 100 percent. More Here...

  • I Am Letting Go of My Crush

I give up, I quit, I resign, surrender, relinquish, forsake and all other words that imply letting go.

I wanted to believe more than anything that my crush would eventually come to feel the same way about me as I do about him, but the longer I wait, the more my heart breaks. And I am tired of hurting, tired of holding my breathe, hoping every word, look or touch is the one that will launch me into "happily ever after."

So, I  quit. I have no more left to give.

  • Look Dumb, Get Laid

Dumb girls are hot. That’s the findings of a study that states men are more attracted to sleepy, drunken, or silly looking girls, in the short term. Being intelligent, or being able to stand up unaided, is only attractive if a man’s looking to get “wifed up,” researchers from the University of Texas found. More Here...

  • Balancing Work and Your Love Life

It was interesting to read the feedback on the post asking which is more important to you "love or a career?" I'd say it was fairly divided.

It's hard to choose pointblank which you would find more important over another. If you found someone you fell in love with, your views on things may change. Similarly, if you got an offer for your dream job, that may put things in a different perspective as well.

But when you have both, how do you balance it?

  • He Hasn't Kissed Me Yet!

    So here's an interesting story....

I'm almost 21 and never been in a relationship before. My best friend and I have been dancing around for the past two years but decided at the end of the summer not to date. But, I've been in love with him this whole time so I've been spending this past school year trying to reconcile this final decision with what I want.

At the end of spring break, I decided to randomly ask someone I knew out to coffee. We work on a lit mag together. I think we had all of half a conversation before. I knew nothing about him except that he was cute and, during a meeting, he complimented a poem I submitted anonymously. So anyway, I sent him an awkward email and four days later we went on a 6-hour long coffee date.

Great! Fantastic! I saw him a few times again over the next week and a half or so and then we went out to dinner. Afterwards, I asked him if we could date casually. He gave me a non-answer, and then texted me asking if we could meet up the next day so he could explain.
