  • RESPONSE: Do "Hot" Women Rule the World?

Lately, I've been seeing a lot of hate towards women from men on here, and it's starting to really bug me. From where I sit, in every complaint I've seen men giving, the real central problem is the man. I'm getting sick and tired of seeing men being whiny babies and basically saying, "SHE MADE ME DO IT! SHE WAS SO HOTT I JUST HAD TO! SO CLEARLY ITS HER FAULT FOR BEING HOT... NOT MINE FOR LETTING THAT GET TO ME! WAHHHWAHHWAHH IT'S NOT FAIR BOO-HOO BE LESS HOT."

Oh give me a break, would ya? More Here...

  • Why Do I Still Have Feelings for Him?

Some time in November of 2011, I was looking through my friend's Facebook and saw this really cute guy tagged in her picture. I decided to add him because it said he was her cousin. He accepted my friend request and we talked for two months before we ever even met in person. I know, it's a little sketchy to meet someone online, but he was my friend's cousin.

Well, January 3rd, 2012, we finally met in person. He stayed the night at my house and we hung out the next three days. It was a little quick, but he asked me to be his girlfriend on January 6th. Well, here's a little background on him and a little on me.

He has a son, who was born on my birthday. I'm the type of girl whom before that, never would have dated someone with a child, but I decided to give him a chance. I was thinking maybe he was different from other guys because he had a child, but man was I wrong. More Here...

  • Is it Okay to Ask This Girl Out Over Facebook?

This post was submitted by Nick.

Hello everyone, I have a pretty unique situation, or at least I think it's unique.

You see, there is this girl that I know and have known for about 6 years now. (Keep in mind that neither of us are even 20 yet.) I always thought this girl was absolutely beautiful and had a crush on her when we first met. We never really hung out with each other since we always went to different schools (and only met through test prep classes), but we met each other often (regents exams are pretty annoying).

Now, we aren't distant or anything; if we were to run into each other on the street we would stop and say hello and whatever. Sadly, I don't run into her too often and when I do, it's at church on Sunday where no one can talk and I hardly think that is the place.

  • Trust Issues Created by Parents?

I haven't been with my boyfriend very long, but it's really difficult to trust any guy. At first, I couldn't figure out why it was so hard for me to trust; then I began giving it some thought and I believe it's because of my dad. More Here...

  • Do "Hot" Women Rule the World?

If you look at society today, you'll notice that white, male property owners are no longer the superior demographic.  Sure, some far-left politicians will make you think otherwise, but the truth is if you consider the facts, hot, attractive women, regardless of race or status, dominate over all other demographics.  Just take the following facts into consideration:

    1) Attractive women get treated just as well if not better than the President of the United States, CEOs of Fortune 500 Companies, and even major Hollywood celebrities at every venue they go to, even if said women are broke, unemployed, uneducated, still live at home with mom and dad, or some other factor that would condemn any guy to being a loser. More Here...

  • January 22nd: The Legal Protection of Unborn Children

January 22nd is the Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children.

Last Thursday at school, I passed by some people handing out flyers and carrying big signs that said, "Stop the War on Women" and "Abortion Rights." Aren't they having a war on the little innocent sea monkeys? (Juno (2007)) In my women’s studies class, we read this anthology called Sister Species: Women, Animals, and Social Justice edited by Lisa Kemmerer. There was a quote that stuck with me :

“Embarrassingly, history has shown time and again how humans complain about the pinch in their own shoes, while failing to see that their tight-fitting shoes are trampling on someone else” (9). More Here...

  • Never Come Between a Man and His Dog

My beloved Doberman Pinscher Zephyrus at 9 months old.

It has come to my attention that on my, My Date From Hell post, I was criticized heavily for bringing my dog on a date. Well, let me get something straight here: you absolutely DO NOT get me without the dog, period. End of story.

Non-dog owners or dog owners who trivialize their furry friend just do not understand that special bond between dog and master. You will never find as loyal of a companion or as great of a friend as a dog, and certainly no human being will ever come close to matching the loyalty of a dog, nor in any human being will you find anything close to the pure and unconditional attachment a dog has to his master. Not even one's significant other comes close. More Here...
  • Keep Obsessing? Or Forget It?

This post was submitted by Etta.

So, there's a guy I dated briefly (but intensely - my first love) five and a half years ago. We tried to see how we felt about six months afterwards (I broke up because it was clear he wasn't over his ex - even though I really liked him). So for roughly five years it's been comments and likes on Facebook, but that's it. He had a long-term girlfriend and I moved away overseas, having two significant relationships (one with a guy, call him Guy R, from his city).

A few months ago, Facebook tells me that he is now single. Approximately a month ago, he writes me a Facebook message (two years to the day that he last wrote me, something he pointed out) just being nice, wishing me happy holidays and asking how I was. I respond in kind, and he responds to my response. More Here...

  • Manti Te'o's Fake Girlfriend: Another Look

One of the most heartwarming stories in football talk turns out to be the biggest hoax out there.  Since this story's been released that's all I've ever been hearing about on the radio and on the news where I live.  This one hits close to home because I'm a huge Notre Dame football fan.  I used to be a fair weather fan because I'm just sick of the team disappointing me all the time when they have such a huge potential.  However, after this season and this incident in particular, I believe Manti needs the fans' support now more than ever.

Some people don't believe that Manti can be this stupid, that he was in on the hoax.  To which I say, why would the kid purposely humiliate himself and ruin his career when he had so much going for him?  I think it's pretty believable that he fell for a fake online girlfriend.  The kid already lost his grandmother and the national championship.  I think people just need to leave him alone.  The football season is over. More Here...

  • On the Topic of Manti Te'o

For those of you who don't know, Manti Te'o is a star football player.  He just finished 2nd place in the Heisman voting, and is a projected top 10 NFL draft pick.  It was recently revealed that the girl who he was in an online relationship with didn't exist.  As of right now, it's unsure whether he was simply the victim of a scam, or was in on the hoax to gain publicity from her "death from leukemia" and/or to hide his true sexuality.  The story is still developing.

I've spent a fair amount of time on the Internet, whether it's on here, AIM, Facebook, dating websites, message boards, or a variety of other sites.  I've encountered my share of women online, and more than my fair share of fakers.  So, for anyone out there who is trying to trick someone into thinking you're a girl who is interested in them, here's some advice for youMore Here...

  • Would You Use a Dating Coach?

A coach provides an individual with support when that person is ultimately trying to achieve a specific goal.  Vocal coaches aid singers who are serious about, perhaps, singing on Broadway or getting a record deal some day.  Athletic coaches help train professional athletes, many of whom strive to achieve a prestigious title, for the next big game or event.  Business coaches may be hired to help increase employee productivity in the workplace with the hopes that greater productivity will lead to greater profit for the company.More Here...

  • The Poke of Death

So I was hanging out with this guy, really nice, tall, interesting hobbies, etc. but I just wasn't into him. When he asked me out for drinks, my friends told me to give him a shot. It went okay. So we met up a few days later for coffee, after which he invited me over to his place to "meet his dog." The dog, a corgi puppy, was very sweet. We were all playing on the couch, and then the guy kissed me. It was okay. But I still wasn't feeling much chemistry, so he drove me home. A few hours later, I logged into Facebook to find that he had poked me.
