  • 5 Creative Marriage Proposals Captured on Video

Video cameras and other recording devices have become household items in the United States and are frequently used as a means of immortalizing some of life’s greatest – and sometimes even smallest! – moments.  Sometimes, people upload these precious memories to Youtube for the world to enjoy.

Youtube offers an extensive collection of marriage proposal videos.  While some people prefer a marriage proposal in a private and more intimate setting, others choose to make the proposal in the public eye.  These public proposals are usually the proposals that end up shared with the world on Youtube.  There is neither a “right” nor a “wrong” way to propose marriage to the person you love; in fact, many people have been very creative with coming up with unique ways to propose.  Below are Youtube videos of five marriage proposals that are both heartfelt and creative.

    Proposal #1: The Move Trailer
A man goes out of his way to create a movie trailer to aid him in proposing to his girlfriend at a movie theater.

    Proposal #2: Street Performer

A street performer uses a special trick to help a man propose to his girlfriend.

    Proposal #3: Faerieland

What better time to propose to your girlfriend than when you're in a costume and surrounded by little children?  But the man isn't the only one who walks out of this with a prize...

    Proposal #4: Christmas Choir
Watch a man in a Christmas choir propose to his girlfriend during the singing of "12 Days of Christmas."

    Proposal #5: The Newsroom

A newsroom worker creates a special news report for the special woman who is both his girlfriend and co-worker.

Do you know of any other examples of creative marriage proposals?  Would you, personally, prefer a proposal that takes place in a more private or public setting?  Why?
