When it comes to the perfect time for starting new relationships, summer always seems to take the cake. People are always dreaming of that perfect summer romance that trickles on through the fall and lasts forever. But many fail to realize that winter can be equally as romantic. The cold weather may be harsh, but just because you can't hit the beach, doesn't mean there aren't any good options for those freezing months!
Here are 5 winter date ideas that will warm you and your date right up.
1. Make S'mores by the fire. There's nothing like coming inside from the biting cold and sitting by the fireplace. For those who want an activity during a date instead of simply warming up by the fire, buy the ingredients necessary for S'mores and create your own bonfire experience. (This can also be done on a stove!)
2. Go ice skating. Ice skating is something that occurs primarily in the winter and can be extremely romantic. Holding hands and skating around the rink can be funny and cute, and definitely will create a lasting memory.
3. Go to a concert.
There are tons of good concerts during the winter months-- choose to see a holiday-themed show or just one of your favorite artists! If you don't wanna pay for a concert or aren't near any great venues, invite your date over, put on some Christmas songs, and have a couple drinks.
4. Make hot chocolate and rent a movie.
For me it's Love Actually, but everyone has that one movie that they simply can't resist-- especially around the holidays. Pick a movie, make some hot chocolate, cuddle up under a blanket, and have a completely romantic time.
5. Go skiing or snowboarding.
If you're looking for a more active date, take a trip to a ski resort and hit the slopes! Never done it? All the more romantic. Take a lesson together! If there's no skiing near you, sledding is a wonderful alternative.
Evidently, there's
no reason that the winter should be viewed as any less romantic than any other season!

go clothes shopping together. i fucking love fall/winter fashion. both guys and girls (though obviously girls moreso).
or you could just piss patterns in the snow together. that's always fun.
stay indoors and get high, and order some take out.
Skip the s'mores and have steamy sex in front of that fire.
