Election Results Reinforce the Illogical and Poor Rationale of Women

Four more years of Obama. Weren't the first four years enough? I didn't think there would ever be a president worse than George W. Bush, but I was proven wrong when this schmuck came into office. He has accumulated enough debt to pay for 10 Iraq wars just in his first couple of years of office, doesn't even like the country he runs and goes around the world apologizing for how much grief America has caused.
He continues to blame Bush even to this day for all the problems he's responsible for, thinks that people who are successful in business should be taxed and regulated to death because they didn't really earn that money, gave the American people a huge middle finger when he decided to ram ObamaCare through, and the list goes on. Let's not forget that America is more vulnerable in the world now and that it can't drill for its own oil, yet China and other countries can drill for ours. How about the fact that 47% of Americans are now on food stamps and the economy has been horrible throughout his entire first term?
Mitt Romney on the other hand, would have put this country back on track, and his resume proves just that he's one of the world's top strategists. If everyone voted on the facts and the facts alone, Obama would have been slaughtered in the elections. But a lot of people did not vote on the facts. A lot of people, particularly women, instead voted with their EMOTIONS. Free ObamaPhones paid by the government and the faux promise that Obama will get gay marriage legalized in all 50 states. A lot of women were duped into believing that they somehow get paid less than men for the same work and that their "freedoms and rights" are violated if the heinous crime of abortion is outlawed again in this country.
You may be asking, "What does this have to do with dating?" It has a lot to do with dating. Just read a few of the articles on this site or see the way women react to certain guys. Romney was like the nice, intelligent, clean-cut guy who gives a certain woman a lot of attention, places her on a pedestal, and makes her feel like a princess. Many guys think this is what a woman wants, and it is what a woman needs - a stable and clean-cut nice guy. Unfortunately, a lot of women are not attracted to said guys because they are boring, predictable, and don't spice up the girl's life.
Obama, on the other hand, was the unstable, abusive bad boy who doesn't give a damn about the women he dates, and even inflicts physical and verbal abuse. Not a good person to even stand near, but most women are attracted to said guy and will even cheat on their nice boyfriends for this guy regardless of how much he has abused them. With that said, I believe a lot of women were using the same rationale they use in relationships, and that is not only unfortunate but dangerous. How did you vote in this election? Did you vote on the facts or on your emotions?

I voted based on facts and still chose Obama. Perhaps you should also write your posts based on facts as well.
@dulceinabox@xanga - Gas prices doubled. The economy is tipping into recession. The fifth year of society crushing trillion dollar deficits is on the way, four Americans were murdered in Benghazi and Obama lied about it repeatedly...
But wait...You want free contraceptives. You're afraid the evil woman-hating Republicans are going to end your right to slaughter unborn babies, etc.
In other words you voted with your vagina.
And that's a fact.
@PrisonerxOfxLove@xanga and OP: Why don't you two look up the facts before making such accusations? Bush DID cause a lot of the debt. Um, hello. Decade long war? Bush. How many billions did that war cost? BUSH. 47% of Americans are on food stamps? Where is the evidence of that? If that were true, I sure as hell would know a LOT of people who are on food stamps. That's half the population.
And Obama is like the ABUSIVE BAD BOY? Are you fricken kidding me!? Have you seen his wife? His marriage?
WOW. This is scary.
ALSO, why on earth is this on D-ish??
I definitely agree. While Romney may have not been the best candidate that the republicans could have picked, I trust him WAY more than I trust Obama. There was no logical reason to vote for Obama unless you hate America and love socialism. Most women voted based on which candidate made them feel better rather than which president would be best at running this country. While Romney was the superior candidate, most women thought Romney reminded them of their boss while Obama was more like the swag dude at the club.
@PassionFruit06@xanga - Blaming Bush doesn't relieve Obama of what he did. Everything I wrote is a verifiable fact.
And the worst fact of all is that you voted your vagina which only means that the facts mean nothing to you.
Bush hasn't been in office for 4 years. That's a long time ago. When does Obama start taking responsibility for his failed policies?
@dulceinabox@xanga - Don't listen to the troll. Gas prices are not under the control of any President or the Congress. It's a global market. Obama took pulled this economy out of the worst place it's been since the Great Depression. When he entered office we were losing more than 700,000 jobs per month. He turned things around and we've seen 32 straight months of private sector job growth. We've seen more jobs created in the last 4 months than in the 8 years Bush was in office. He did this and so much more in the face of about 300 filibusters by the right. The Wall Street Journal recently published their opinion that had republicans not blocked Obama's jobs and infrastructure bill we would have seen a 7.1% unemployment figure as of this past April. It would be even lower now.
what the fuck is this post doing on here?
This is ridiculous.
This is a bad post, and you should feel bad.
You know what I haven't had in a while? Big League Chew.
I voted retroactively based on a whiny political rant I read on fucking Datingish.
WTF is this doing on Datingish?
I voted for Mitt because when I went to some forums, especially on facebook, super Obamanites and their know-it-all egos pissed me off and I just wanted to vote Mitt and hoped that he won to hurt their egos. Some of his fans don't know the word humble and boast and gloat about Mitt never having a chance. I wonder what they would have sung if they had lost.
@TheSutraDude@xanga - So you say gas prices aren't controlled by the president, yet why does every new potential president promise to lower the gas prices even though they know they don't have total control over it? Every year every new president promises that, and every year, gas prices rise.
I think it's a little hypocritical of some people to bash Romney for not accepting gays because these are the people who don't accept him because he's Mormon. And yes they did vote on emotions.
Furthermore, I'm sick of people thinking Romney's this huge monster. He has family and kids of his own. He of all people should know about family matters. Get real and quit exaggerating.
Not all women are victims of persuasive rhetoric.
@xinq@xanga - I'm well aware Presidential candidates promise to lower gas prices. During the republican primary Michelle Bachmann and Newt Gingrich promised to bring gas prices down to $2.00/gallon as soon as they were elected. It's called politics and it's unfortunate.
You made your choice which is your right. Thank you for voting.
America HAS caused grief. We have a nasty habit of trying to "fix" people and countries that just want us to GTFO and leave them alone. We're a nosy, pushy, arrogant country. And I'm saying this as a military girlfriend.
I voted based on the economy. But I also voted for civil rights. I support marriage for everyone. And if I don't want a child, I damn sure am not having one.
What self-respecting woman would vote for a man who believes in limiting her reproductive freedom and/or hired women to, admittedly, save money (oh how people forget his "binders full of women" remark). Further, what self-respecting woman would vote for a blatantly misogynistic man who believes a woman's place is barefoot and pregnant? Well, that's exactly what Mitt Romney was, and it has all to do with his bogus religion.
Above all, had he been elected, he would have imposed a total Mormon theocracy on the world. THAT was his real reason for running. Mormons believe it is their divine calling to take over and rule the world with an iron fist and total theocracy. This is what their doctrine teaches. Don't fall for this BS that the MORmON mishies say about how they promote freedom of religion or how the church is politically neutral. They are the most politically involved religious group in the western world (I say western because admittedly they still don't come close to having the political influence that Islam has in the Mid-East). In short: there would have been a worldwide holy war in the name of Mormonism. (By the way, I know all of this because I was raised Mormon, and I will give it to you straight up and not this sugar-coated BS that the mishies or the Mormon high-ups spew).
Whereas Obama is a fucking shitty US president, and even I feel the effects of his shittiness despite the fact I don't live in the US anymore and have no intentions of returning, Romney would have been even more of a domestic and international nightmare. Obama was, clearly, the lesser evil. That said, had I been eligible to vote in the US election, I'd have voted third party.
@xinq@xanga - Read my comment above as to why they should have rejected a Mormon president. I'm not an Obama fan, and I think he sucks, but seriously.
"Romney was like the nice, intelligent, clean-cut guy who gives a
certain woman a lot of attention, places her on a pedestal, and makes
her feel like a princess."
ahaha. This sentence is so hilarious in light of Romney's treatment of women.
I voted for neither. they don't tickle my fancy. I wish jason momoa popped my cherry instead
jason momoa for mr.tarzan universe

P.S. Princesses don't go in binders.
@secretbeerreporter@xanga - Well I didn't like either of them but I had to choose one and I chose Mitt because he's a business man and has a resume to fit making better jobs than Obama. Obama cares more about emotions than surviving that's how he got most of his votes, because of personal issues. I make low income and should have been qualified for Obamacare. I tried applying and got denied. I got really sick this last month with a super bad cold/flu made me mad that I didn't have insurance because I only work part-time. I didn't want to get on any freebie plan but my parents convinced me it's just my tax dollars back and I caved tried to apply. Luckily I waited out the sickness. It got so bad that I had to miss a few days of work and got a corrective action for missing work. Had I had insurance, I would have went to the doctor right away and thought that was BS.
I'm just saying for people who preach to love everyone, they sure didn't accept Mitt. And oh believe me, most of the Republicans don't even like Mitt so I don't even know how he got elected when everyone was raving about Ron Paul who would have been the better candidate for the Republicans because everyone I talked to has told me that if Ron Paul was elected, they would have voted for him instead of Obama.
What the actual fuck is this post?
Is this real life?
