By dancing, I don't mean randomly throwing hands up in the air or random grinding; I'm mainly referring to structured dancing that takes a lot of practice to get good at, such as salsa, bachata, cha cha, line dancing, swing, ballroom, etc. After all, Dancing with the Stars has been one of the most popular shows on television for several years in a row now. You would think that women would be deeply attracted to men who can dance really well, especially to sexual and intimate dances like bachata, because men who are good dancers are better in bed than men who aren't good dancers.
I can't speak for all avenues, but from my experience, the number of women who are actually into such dancing is surprisingly low. I'm referring to the women who typically like to go out to bars and clubs on weekends. Sure, they'll dance to house party music by just randomly jumping while holding their drinks in the air. When it comes to partner dancing however, many women will turn tail and run and most will reject guys who ask them to dance without building strong rapport first.
It's really nothing against the guys that ask them; they just don't want to look like goofballs in front of all their friends and the rest of the crowd, or they feel that partner dancing is going to lead to something sexual just because there's touching involved. This is despite the fact that guys who can dance and go up to ask women they don't know to dance carry a significant level of confidence that most guys don't possess, and the fact that you really can't talk in a night club due to the blaring loud music.
So to women on this site, do you find guys who can dance attractive? Or is a guy's dancing capabilities totally irrelevant to you?
