A few weeks ago, a good friend of mine who also lives with me, began seeing this girl from our school. I told him (Eli) straight up that she was creepy, and that once he started dating her he'd be stuck in her creepy spider web, but he didn't listen until now. Last night we were casually talking with my mom, and she mentioned how Eli's girlfriend and one of his other friends added her on Facebook, and that she wanted Eli to look over the friend's Facebook and tell her who she was.
Eli left, looked, and then came back so I asked who it was. It was this girl who had added me as well a few days earlier, but I declined the request. She was one of those overly done goth girls, so I knew that wasn't really her. Well, in school, the day after I'd declined the request, I mentioned it to a friend (who is an ex of Eli's girlfriend) and he told me that the account was Eli's girlfriend, on a fake account.
I found this a little weird (because she knows that I am not a friend of hers) but I didn't worry too much about it because, well, I had been smart and declined the request.
The thing is (Eli was shocked after I told him it was his girlfriend), he didn't decline the request, and he didn't know that it was her. This chick added him on a real and fake Facebook account, and talked to him on both. She's been pretending to be a friend of his girlfriend's on the fake one. After I told him, he started looking more closely into the fake account and it was more obvious than ever.
The profile says she lives is from Michigan, currently lives in Japan, and all of her friends are from our small town. Since this discovery he's been "unnerved" as he puts it and seriously creeped out.
I've personally found her creepy since the get-go. The week before last, my mom had a cow because she found the two of them at the end of our long driveway surrounded by woods in the middle of the night (it was around 4 am). The girl had walked for miles in the night, in the middle of nowhere, to our house to see him (and she didn't tell him until she got here!-- well, Eli says she told him she was coming but she told him she was here way too soon for someone who doesn't have a car to have walked).
And Eli's been creepy too. On their first date, he told me they laid in the graveyard together (also after midnight) and that it was nice. *shudder*
Anyway, now that Eli is all creeped out he doesn't know what to do in the relationship. He kind of wants to end it, but he knows that he will be hated by all of his friends for breaking her heart (kind of a silly reason to stay with a creeper, if you ask me), but Eli isn't convinced.
