When I first started having sex, the setting had to always be one prepared for romance. Lights low or off, television off, R&B/Soul on. It had become a necessity that I didn't even realize. Until I noticed, it wasn't me who always had these things in tact and prepared, but also my significant other who'd take the time to make the romantic gesture -- and I loved it!
Now, I couldn't care less about the mood and just focus on the act that follows the preparation. Reflecting, I've had some sexy ass sex to my favorite artists and some who became my favorite after the ballads they belted for my sexual soundtrack. But it's now become a special occasion prop. Like candles. Sure, they smell good and make the lighting in the room much more erotic, but will you really care about them once your clothes hit the floor?
I'm all for romance and "setting the mood." At one point, that's all I'd done. But, though I love the intensity it brings when you're lost in the moment, I no longer look for music as a MUST have to enjoy sex.

hahaha^^ Those props are all nice and what not, but I don't need anything but my partner. It's obviously fun to add stuff in here and there and to plan sexy times but to need it every single time well that takes away the spontaneity which is part of the fun!
I like music and it does help me get in the mood but I don't need it to have sex. I think the best sex I ever had while music was playing was when we had sex to Say Anything's album Is a real boy. The best part was when I started singing Every boy Has a Molly.
I haven't done it to music. hearing the sound of his heavy breathing/sexy voice is enough to get me in the mood. he'll whisper something sexy in my ear to jumpstart my mood
i just need my man to be horny and craving every inch of my body, I'm ready and down for sex! I do not need candles and music. I've used those things very rarely. Now if he is blah when I start trying to have sex, that is when my mood goes down.
I've never noticed music while having sex. Although, the very first time I ever had sex with my then boyfriend the preview for Juno started playing. I decided it was a sign and shoved him off of me and jumped to the other side of the room. That must have been pretty romantic and attractive. The best thing about sex is the moment right before. I like that moment more than any music. When you can just feel everything building. You've spent a few hours together, the tension is building, and as soon as you get alone in a room together you can't stay off of each other. I'll take that over music, candles, whatever. I don't even need a bed haha.
Never had a mood set. I put on music often, mostly to drown out noise from others hearing, and also just because I like music. So I'll end up singing along before, during and after healing time.
Hm. I don't think I've ever had music played just to set up the mood, but I've had many moments where the music is playing to cover up moans and screams during sex but before all that starts, the guy will sing along to the music and act like he's serenading me. It's hilarious and sweet at the same time and really just relaxes both people so I guess in a way it does help set some sort of mood. But more of making both people more comfortable than it turning them on. I prefer being able to hear moaning and dirty talk being whispered in my ear. If that doesn't set up a sexy mood then I don't know what will.

I usually put on some Marilyn Manson or the song Change by Deftones lol.. But what get's me hot is putting on certain movies. Not porn though lol. I'm not a lesbian but I love Kate Beckinsale in Underworld. Something about vampires get's me in the mood :P
I've never had sex while listening to music. I have had it while listening to Sportscenter. And no, that's not a complaint.
I love candles and low lighting, though. It's not a must, but I enjoy it. :)
