Bedsheet Battles

The only good thing about being in a long distance relationship is that I don’t have to fight for the bed sheets. It doesn’t matter how equal a relationship is outside the bedroom, there’s always an uneven distribution of comforter/sheet/blanket in the morning. My girlfriend maintains I am the blanket stealer. Seemingly she rolls me out of the blanket at least twice a night, and I put up some kind of sleepy fight by gripping the sheets like a possessive koala. She gave me my own blanket for a while to try and even out the blanket percentages, but I still stole hers.
Having enjoyed (but actually hated) having the blankets all to myself this summer, I’m ready to fight for my life when my girlfriend comes back in a week.
Who steals the blankets in your relationship?

My bed, my blanket !!!
he can have the blanket. I hug my stuffed animal to sleep
My husband is a bed, blanket and pillow hog.. He likes to try to snatch my pillow and it drives me nuts! He comes in handy in the winter though because it's like sleeping with a furnace.. But I love him
Not even one month later and we're seeing the same post again. Congratulations on your accomplishment, datingish.
I've simply mastered the art of sleeping without a blanket. You get much better sleep when you are not constantly waking up during the night battling over blanket.
i don't really use the blanket too much. i get so hot at night so i'm usually just half covered. w/my ex, he used to steal the blanket all the time. he'd place the blanket under him while he sleeps and he barely moves.
My boyfriend steals the blankets. All of the time. It doesn't help that his house is always less than 60 degrees, and I have anxiety related to the cold.
My sheet. My comforter. Le YOINK!
It's because I have to tuck them around and under me, and snuggle my comforter with my leg over it and it tucked up under my top arm, and between my bottom arm and my head. I've got an industrial piercing and it's difficult to lay on it unless everything is "just so" under my head.
Why don't you each sleep under your own blanket?
I usually need the blanket, because he never seems to need it!
All mine. I also speak Parseltongue and walk around looking for forgotten babies in my sleep.
i share, but that is why we have a KING SIZE blankie, so theres always a little extra !
Get a bigger bed... problem solved!
