The only good thing about being in a long distance relationship is that I don’t have to fight for the bed sheets. It doesn’t matter how equal a relationship is outside the bedroom, there’s always an uneven distribution of comforter/sheet/blanket in the morning.
My girlfriend maintains I am the blanket stealer. Seemingly she rolls me out of the blanket at least twice a night, and I put up some kind of sleepy fight by gripping the sheets like a possessive koala. She gave me my own blanket for a while to try and even out the blanket percentages, but I still stole hers.
Having enjoyed (but actually hated) having the blankets all to myself this summer, I’m ready to fight for my life when my girlfriend comes back in a week.
Who steals the blankets in your relationship?
