On a rainy day last April, my then-boyfriend and I went to the Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum. The museum was fairly interesting. But the reason I remember it was because a museum photographer took a great photo of my boyfriend and I kissing. A photograph that we should have bought, but didn't because we'd spent far too much money that day on an entrance ticket.
In our year-long relationship, we got some pretty great photos. But we always regretted not buying the Ripley's one.
My current boyfriend and I met while I was studying abroad. When I left at the end of May, we realized that we didn't have any pictures of just the two of us. We had some good ones that we both were in, but we were with other friends as well.
So when I went to visit him in July, we tried to take a get a photo of the two of us. But there was always something wrong - the lighting was off, the photo was blurry, one of us looked weird, etc. We finally got a good one just a few minutes before I left, as we were waiting in line at the airport.
I love being in photos, especially with the people I love. I enjoy taking them, too. Sure, the memory will be the same whether I'm in the photo or not. But I like having the reminder of my sometimes-blurry smiling face, and they make me happy and nostalgic when I see them.
Especially when they're with my long-distance boyfriend. It's nice to have a reminder of us together, until the next time I get to see him.

Hmm. I don't have a photo of myself and my S/O together. I wonder why that is. *shrugs*
Oh, I remember why...
Because I know exactly why that is.
In my 2.5 years of dating my ex, we never took pictures together. Made it super easy to clean my facebook off once we broke up lol. I love taking pics with my S/O as well and hope that when I am in a new relationship, my guy will enjoy taking pics with me!

i only have 2 photos with girls, ever. one was from my date to senior ball (college, not hs), and the other was my date to grad formal. the commonality? both events had photographers taking the photos of all couples for free, haha. i still have both, though i'm kind of embarrassed looking at the photo of the girl from grad school now. dunno how i let that happen.
last summer my friend (from grad school) and i were drunk, and she straight up asked, "sooo what exactly were you thinking when you were banging that girl? there's NO way you didn't like her."

I had a great one taken of me and my ex from the Air Force. I went to go see him in Mississippi with two of his friends, and one of them got a picture of us kissing. It was so cute, cause we were both smiling as we kissed. Which was kinda funny, cause we were at the airport, about to Leave, lol. But, it was still a great picture.
I have a couple favorite pictures of me and my fiance.
1. I have a picture of us in a restaurant where I am trying to cover his face in whipped cream from my ice cream and he is laughing and holding me back from doing it. I like it because I remember how much fun that day was:)
2. I have a picture of us at my college graduation. I like it because it reminds me of how supportive he is. He's always, always, always there for me.
3. I also have a picture of us that is not actually a photo, but a caricature. I like it because it's silly and different and the person who drew the picture captured our love for each other pretty well.
My favorite picture is girl and I cuddling in a big hole among the boulders in Bishop, CA. Two reasons for this picture being my fav. First, it was taken of us in Bishop, where we have many rock climbing memories together. Second, she has her beanie pulled down over her eyes with a silly grin, which makes me smile every time I see that picture.
i don't have a favorite now bc i'm not seeing anyone but with my ex, it was at the aquarium that was so unexpected but it was so us.
When I was abroad and dating a guy, our first photo together at a music festival with our arms around each other and big smiles. We were both happy and its nice to look back and see where it all began

My friend is a photographer, and she did a photo shoot of my boyfriend and I. It was really fun and we were silly. My favorite one is a picture of my boyfriend tilting me back and kissing me. It looks like a magazine picture.
Another one is a picture I took while at school, in front of the buses. It looks awesome because we're smiling and the sun is shining down on us. My friend took it from her cell before she left for Hawaii and it reminds me of how cute she thought my boyfriend and I were and the times before my boyfriend graduated.
My last favorite is a picture of our faces pressed together, looking at each other and laughing, like an eskimo kiss. It reminds me of all the goofy silly stuff we do and still feel comfortable around each other.

------There's one of us at the MET rooftop before we were dating. We took another a year later in the same position as a couple. It was cute to see the happy change.its pretty funny. My significant other doesn't seem like the type to take pictures but when i pull out my phone and say "Babe! lets take a picture!" hes down and takes one. of course he always makes some weird face and never smiles. My favorite one is of my face and his tattoo on his arm, his face isnt in the pic but his arm is... ? lol
