My boyfriend keeps a napkin on his desk. This napkin was given to him by a girl at a club before we met, telling him he looked sad and giving him her number.
As the girlfriend, I find it slightly odd that my boyfriend keeps a random girl's number on his desk. But he has no intention of calling her, and I trust him. I did ask, however, why he kept the napkin at all.
He looked me and said, "I keep it as a reminder."
A reminder? "Of what?"
"That I'm sexy and I know it!"I find this comment hilarious, egotistical, and adorable all at the same time, especially because he sang it. But it also got me thinking.
I've never kept a reminder that I'm hot, per se. Of course, all I need is a mirror.
Just kidding! In all seriousness, a physical object like that does not exist for me. I do have sexy lingerie that I wear on days when I need a boost of confidence and hotness.
Although I will say,
I've always liked the idea of getting naked photos done. Not in a sexting pics kind of way, but in a professional boudoir shoot way. I always hear that you'll never be as hot as you are in your 20s, and if that's true I'd like to remember this forever.
Then again, I have no idea where I'd keep these photos. I also feel like if I looked at them when I was older, my reaction might not be quite as positive. These photos might not become a reminder that I'm sexy but just a reason I want to be 20 again.
Still, I've always liked the idea. And it's so much classier than keeping photos on my phone.
And for those of you who will call me conceited for wanting a reminder that I'm attractive - you should get one too! Seriously, why not? If you don't think you're attractive, no one else will. And having something around to boost your self-esteem is just nice.

p.s. i think your boyfriend's lying. i don't see how something showing that a girl took pity on him can be a reminder of his sexiness.

i had a little folder on my computer somewhere that had a bunch of chat conversations where a couple different boys told me i'm pretty. haha, i have a boyfriend now who says that all the time so i don't really look at it anymore, if it's still on here, but when i was single and depressed it was nice.
