For Better and For Worse
Note to self. Don't get your wedding pictures taken on a dock. And don't marry someone who swims away and let's the bridesmaids save you. How bad do you feel for this bride?

WOW. Just wow. The freaking "husband" only cared about himself. lol. I would be pisssedddd.... especially since i can't swim!
I feel bad for the bride because her husband left her behind. Never mind the dock collapsed and they all fell in, clearly he was not in "we" mode yet.
"And don't marry someone who swims away and let's the bridesmaids save you."
what, she isn't capable of standing in 4 feet of water? and considering how much it looks like she weighs, i doubt he could have carried her out.
i feel worse for the rest of the wedding party, because it was probably her idea to take that picture.
@flapper_femme_fatale@xanga - I agree, it's not like the water was that deep and it' not like he took off in the other direction swimming like Michael Phelps. I'm sure she's more than capable of standing in water. Honestly I would have been laughing because it would have been funny and so unexpected to me.
Bride was too fat.
who cares if its 4 feet of water - his first instinct was to save his sorry self with his "O" face
Not one of those guys even attempted to help the chicks...man
I've nearly drowned before and I almost pulled someone down with me, not on purpose of course, but my first instinct was to survive and try to save myself, if only I could swim to begin with, which is why I panicked and tried to grab onto whoever was nearby to save myself while pushing the person under since I used the person as a floatie. he panicked. unless I was on shore and wasn't startled, then I'd jump in the water to save my beloved(if I knew how to swim) but if I also went under like the rest of them at the same time, and my swimming skills sucks, then I'd probably react similarly and save myself first. better one die than both. I'd be like Jack and let Rose survive. however, in this scenario, the guy cared about his stupid phone and I hate it when people are obsessed with their phones. if he panicked and was on the verge of tears because he was so scared that he was going to die, so that's why he didn't save me, then I'd understand, but he was laughing. he should marry his phone instead.
god damn it, i wanted to be the first person to make the fat chick remark. did you know that fat is less dense than water, and therefore will float? cause apparently the groom did. this is why when i was a kid, i could float with no problem, but now i sink like a giant sack of shit. (not floater shit, i mean sink-y shit.)
@testyman666@xanga - that's called human instinct.
I am pretty much positive that my future husband would do exactly the same thing and then say, "I was trying to get out so I could help you!" The truth is, he sucks at swimming.
@TheNotoriousGOD@xanga - I think the soggy material of the wedding dress would counteract the buoyancy she had, it was a pretty poofy dress and those get fucking HEAVY even when dry
Immediate annulment. In only 4 feet of water, nobody was in jeopardy of drowning, not even the groom whose first instinct was to get himself to the edge. Someone could have been injured by the fall. With all that material in her dress, she could have been snagged on the bridge and trapped. It's obvious she's having some kind of trouble and her friend comes to her rescue and her husband doesn't even glance to see if she is okay. Sad.
@flapper_femme_fatale@xanga - In only 4 feet of water, he didn't even need to save himself. She's obviously struggling a bit considering all that dress material. She may have even been caught on the wood. The problem is that the husband doesn't even look at her to see if she is okay. The bride is also the only one that gets dragged completely under the water. Her friend is yelling "Help".
Now she knows who her bestfriend is...
Yeaaaa, that is a pretty selfish groom. I mean, he doesn't have to carry her out. Even glanced back or offering her his hand or something like that would have been more chivalrous than just swimming away without even asking if she was alright. The bridesmaid helped more than he did..
I wouldn't need anyone to save me but it would be nice if someone who claims to love me forever would at least ask if I was alright.
