Believe it or not Jodie Marsh was a successful glamor model in the UK, before transforming into a body builder over the last two years. She's just won gold at the International Natural Bodybuilding Federation (INBF) Natural North America Bodybuilding Championships, the
Daily Mail reports.
I guess the skipped past the argument that fake boobs aren't natural when she entered the competition. I'm pretty impressed by her dedication, but I want to know your opinion on her remarkable physique. Is it sexy or just plain sinewy?
You can come at in from all angles.
Would you want to date someone who cares this much about her six-pack, or would you always come in second place: to her personal trainer? Men are deemed demi-Gods if they are this defined, so why can't a woman be the female equivalent? Does Marsh show incredible work ethic and self control, or a full on exercise addiction?
Let's not get "angry feminist" about it, but women just aren't expected to look like this ... but that doesn't mean they shouldn't.
Weigh in with your opinion ... how hot is muscle on a woman?

Not. But only because I'm not into that kind of thing.
being healthy and toned is fine. but body builders go way overboard and i dont find it stimulating at all.
Doesn't look bad to me. Beats being unhealthy.
All that oil they slather on looks worse than the muscle to me. I get why they do it, but it looks like they're about to be feathered.
fucking gross. if i wanted someone with muscle, i'd just jack off to an old photo of ah-nuld or something.
@Grtt@xanga - why do they do it?
over doing it. their body looks too tight like it is about to explode. I don't like too buff on either gender. I like fitness model bodies. jamie alderton for example. but the kpop stars have just the right amount of toned muscles. 6 packs that bulge out too much are scary. however, I'd rather be with a bodybuilder than morbidly obese. it would be cool if he can carry me on his shoulders with one of those royal egyptian chairs
just like this except only one hulk man needed: http://www.fleurbaixtoysoldiers.com.au/images/ancient-egyptians/jpgs/14.jpg
Not hot. It's fine to stay in shape and be toned, but anything above that just makes me go ick (this goes for both men and women).
The testosterone eventually takes its toll especially for women body builders.
Hate it. I find it highly unattractive. However the amount of effort it takes to get to that level earns its respect.
@TheNotoriousGOD@xanga - The darker you are, the more defined your muscles appear. Not entirely sure of the science or theory behind that, maybe something about greater contrast between the lights on the stage and their skin tone. Dunno.
Eh... not my thing. I like some muscle - I find athletic men and women attractive - but the hyper-defined muscles sought by bodybuilders is a turn-off for me.
To each their own. Muscle-y women have their own band of fetishists that adore them. ;)
I just checked out jamie alderton some more and he's a bodybuilder. so not all of them look scary. he looks hoooootttttt
his body seems proportionate. some have drastically larger arms or legs or other combinations that focus your attention on one part, but I look at him in his entirety and whoa
it helps that he looks like a model and doesn't have that scary expression on his face when he flexes that turn me off. I prefer the slight eyebrow squint as he flexes as if it is effortless sexiness
From a physical standpoint, it's a little tough for me to find a body like this to be "hot", but I don't really like to judge a book by its cover. I mean, if the woman I loved wanted to all of a sudden focus on her body like that, and told me, I would love her just the same and still find her to be "hot" regardless, so answering this question is like picking up a double-edged sword and similar to answering truthfully when a girl asks you if she looks fat in her new or old outfit. Don't do it fella's.
Hot!
Sorry if I don't conform to "normal" standards of attractiveness based on societal indoctrination. I'm not closeminded like other guys who can't stand to be with women stronger than them.
It takes an incredible amount of discipline to look like that so kudos for the female bodybuilders. Although I do like a bit of muscle, I prefer the toned, lean look.
The pic you posted isn't a slanted misrepresentation of female bodybuilders. Better examples can be found here -- "TrainerSpace"
Ugh, gross. I don't even find buff men attractive. Yes, it's nice to look in shape, but I dislike overly muscular men. Overly muscular women are scary. Nothing more gross than veins sticking out everywhere.
Not attractive. Being just toned and fit is enough. This is way beyond that.
not hot when they're really into body building, it's kinda scary to me. i don't even find men bodybuilders attractive.
Undoubtedly it is mostly steroids or male hormones. I would be afraid that she would kick the living shit out of me.
Some nice toning is awesome but this just kind of weirds me out a bit. However, to each their own and I'm sure there's plenty of men that find this attractive.
I'm not a guy. But if I was a guy, I wouldn't be into a chick who looked like a dude...
Hot. Taking care of yourself is hot ! As long as they aren't doing steroids, or anything harmful of course.
You have to realize, these women don't always look like this. They're not always tanned, oiled, bulging and flexing. And when they're in a tshirt and jeans hanging out with friends, they're just athletic looking women. Just like stage make up for dancers, female bodybuilders have to do certain things to look their best on stage, and show off their hard work. Part of the sport.
@Sprinkles_and_Sunshine@xanga - eh, I think they still look more athletic and built than your average athlete. I agree they don't look this built up, but they still look a lot more extreme than most people.
I don't enjoy looking at men OR women who are that buff.
