I'm in the last month of my freshman year of college. There's this guy that I've had a crush on for several months. We met at the beginning of this semester in January, and I have been thinking that he will ask me out, but he hasn't.
He's always texting me to see how I'm doing, always asking me questions about my life and listens in fascination; he offers to do things for me like cook me dinner and paid for my dinner at a restaurant even after I insisted he didn't.
We're in a class together, so we see each other a few times a week and often more to eat dinner together now and then. When we were apart for a week during Spring Break, he kept saying that he missed me.
Now, there's only a month left before summer hits. I go to college on the East Coast and I'm from the West. He's an international student from Asia, so we'll be far apart in a month, although he is most likely staying at school to do research (I'll probably go home).
I've been thinking about asking him out, but I have never done so before. (I actually have never even gone out on a date.) This is the first guy I've really liked. What should I do?

Ask him out to dinner. Have a nice conversation with dinner, and then go for a walk. While on the walk, tell him that you like him and ask if the feelings are mutual. If so, you can ask if you two would like to date exclusively and see it blossom. If not, well, can still be friends, right? The main thing is, you just have to do it. Good luck!

It sounds like you're basically dating already but neither of you have had the courage to actually call it that. Invite him to do something you both would likely enjoy together, without anyone else; Dinner would be lame considering how well you know eachother. While doing said activity ask him about his culture and how they handle the first kiss, if you want to kiss him of course. Stuff like that. Make sure that he knows what's on your mind.
