I still can't get over the sheer amount of strange sexual infatuations. If it isn't getting a high off of being swindled out of money or popping balloons, it's crushing bugs, food, or small objects.
I'm absolutely terrified of bugs. I think if a lover were to tell me he'd be turned on if I stepped on a spider, as open as I am to things, I think I may have to draw the line there. And then weep silently in a corner as my arachnophobia overpowers me.
There are two sorts of crush fetishists. One is considered a soft crush where small insects, spiders, worms, etc. are crushed. The other is a hard crush where bigger animals maybe stepped on, such as birds and reptiles.
Jeff Valencia is actually a prominent director of crush films and has a small collection of films depicting small insects being crushed. He's claimed to have loved watching bugs being smashed since he was young.
There was a lawsuit that banned the making and selling of crush films that depicted animal cruelty, though it was later uplifted--the ban being too broad to be properly defined legally and interfering with freedom of speech.
The crushing fetish can lead into another fetish known as trampling, which is the act of another person stepping on you. The latter I feel is a bit more common in the BDSM scene, videos of which can be found on youtube. I checked.
Has a lover ever brought up a strange fetish to you? How did you react?
