Justin Bieber Gets Married?
People can get creative on Valentine's Day to show their appreciation to a special someone. I can understand that. But what I can't understand is how this guy has the gall to marry a little girl with terminal cancer? Spending the day with someone that admires you can make that person extremely happy...but marry them? The little girl got a consent from her parents and everything to allow the marriage between her and the young celebrity.
What does this mean? Is Marriage becoming a circus? A frantic publicity stunt?
First of all, by knowing this I can say one thing for certain...the meaning of marriage has lost its value. Something that should be serious and sacred should actually...well, be SERIOUS! I think that what he's done is cruel because he's practically saying "I have no problem marrying a total stranger who's dying because in the end they'll die and I can get more fame for this "act of love." What ever happened to marrying for love?
This is by far the must revolting publicity stunt any celebrity could ever do. Why not just spend three days with the girl and take her whereever she wants to go and share your time with her, I think that's more reasonable. But by marrying her, this is just sending a huge negative message. "Marriage is just a word and has no meaning." Frankly, he's toying with the little girl's emotions.
I'm all for making people and children happy. But I don't agree with playing them like this. And I know that there will be a great number of Bieber fans that will read this post and insult me by commenting for the sake of defending their "idol," but that's freedom of speech I suppose and I think that everyone is free to just say what they want and what they mean even if it doesn't make any sense. But before you comment, think about it; "He just married a little girl that will die soon...usually one would think twice before getting married to anyone especially if there's no love involved. And yet here comes this celebrity who actually marries a little girl with no problem at all because in the end he'll end up being a widow."
Ladies and gentlemen, this is mocking a sacred bond between two humans that actually love each other and are willing to spend the rest of their lives together and face any situation, together. In sickness and in health.
Enough said.
What do you think? Do you agree with what he's done? Should marriage be taken more seriously?

This is the most ridiculous thing I have EVER heard, it's so wrong on so many levels....
This is too ridiculous for me to believe right off the bat. Seriously? Can I have the source?
There are dozens of Hollywood people having affairs, divorcing for petty reasons, and marrying on a whim, and you're going to hold up a PRETEND marriage ceremony as evidence of the devaluing of marriage? (Yeah, he didn't ACTUALLY marry her... it was a pretend ceremony.)
Please tell me this was a joke post.
I'm not a fan of Bieber, but I agree with QuantumStorm. According to the sources I've read, it was a pretend marriage. Hey, Datingish, this post should be deleted because the writer is misinformed.
There are quite a few things to feel this passionately about in regards to the Biebs. Namely, why is his face still everywhere, why in the world is his music so popular, etc. A pretend marriage to make a six year old girl who is battling cancer happy is not one of them.
LMAO, after that Mariah Yeater crap, there's another rumor about him? When will these crazies stop? They're just justin haters lookin' to ruin his rep. Why would he do that when he's been dating Selena for the longest time? I think he has everything he needs from her. This is just pretend. Don't believe everything you read in the tabloids. Now this one is new to me. I usually keep up with celebrity gossip but I've never heard of this one until now.
So I googled more on this story...and this is totally not a big deal, LOL.
Are we being serious right now??? I don't even like Bieber but this post is just ridiculous... It's a pretend marriage, that wasn't even done. & Not only that, but it's not like he screwed her!!! Stop making such a big deal out of something small.
SOURCE SOURCE SOURCE SOURCE!!!!!! NOOWWWWW...this is crap!
You're an idiot. They didn't actually get married, they got 6-year-old "married" as in pretend, playtime, NOT REAL OR LEGAL. How stupid are you?!
....you're a bit slow, yeah?
umm joke? it is even legal for a 6 year old to be married?
She's 6 years old. Even with parental consent, it's not legal. You get pretend married that young, which is what they did. What I would like to know is how the writer is so gullible to believe that it was a real marriage. Please...some people need common sense.
Hey Orlei, wanna get married?
He'll be a widower.
Huh? Seriously?
This post is a joke. Check your sources.
What Biebs did was beautiful. Look how happy that little girl is!
If you knew you were about to die, would ANYTHING make you that happy?!
Quit trying to bring negativity to this situation.
even if this was real, i don't know why you're getting so upset over this. he was doing something to make a dying girl happy. seriously, what's your problem?
Okay, since you didn't cite a source, I googled it. Justin Bieber did not, in fact, marry this girl. He didn't even pretend marry her.SHE "pretend married" a cardboard cutout of him. He wasn't even present or aware. He found out about it because they made a Facebook page about it, and then he went to go see her and they spent the day together. So...no harm, no foul. Fact-checking ftw.
2 things, doing a pretend marriage to lift the spirits of a dying girl is more noble than something most people would do, and secondly the original purpose of marriage was for procreation to ensure the continuation of bloodlines and as a means of maintaining wealth and status. So, don't bother spewing the original meaning of marriage jargon. It's always been a joke. Hollywood has just brainwashed everyone into thinking that it ever meant something. If you love someone stay with them and commit. Certificates and materialistic symbols like rings are as much bullshit as the premise that marriage was ever actually about love. Relationships are about love, not marriage. K, I'm done.
@TiredSoVeryTired@xanga - THANK GOODNESS someone else said this...I was reading the comments getting worried...
not cool,at all!!!
You're completely overreacting.
I'm not a Bieber fan by any means, but I think this was kinda sweet on his part, especially if the girl was a huge fan of him. Looks like the pretend ceremony made her very happy (:
@crim077@xanga - This.
