"Cut it Short!"
Long black hair doesn't seem to be working well for some women nowadays. Most of the women are getting short hairstyles. I always adore women with short hairstyles because it makes them look so confident and look like successful career women.
After keeping my hair short from the age of 8 until 21, I realized that I prefer to let my hair grow because I like long black hair on myself. I guess my mother and sister are not on the same page as me because they keep saying: "Cut your hair short!"
According to a hairstylist, women who try pixie haircuts are more daring and able to take high risks of doing things or making decisions in life. In addition, according to womenshair, a pixie hairstyle is one of the most daring hairstyles a woman can try.
I could not agree more with that statement.
Here's a short list of celebrities with pixie hairstyles:

Ladies, would you try pixie hairstyles?
Guys, do you like pixie haircuts on girls?

walking around, most of the women i see with short hair are old (50+). at a younger age, i.e. in your 20's, it takes a very spunky personality to pull it off. and i still think you'll be fighting an uphill battle. i think your hair right now suits you well.
It's your hair so you should do whatever you want with it.
I do like the pixie hair cuts but I have not gone that short before.
I've had long hair for ages, but that's because I think I look better with long hair. I have had short hair in the past, but I didn't look good in it due to my round face. However, I would definitely love to try out pixie cuts. It really does take a lot of confidence to pull it off.
Not sure what this has to do with dating, but usually depending on the facial structure of the girl determines if a short hair style can work. I think girls with shorter but rounder jaws can pull off the short hair very well. But, give it a try and get some feedback on it.
I like it when girls with long hair wear it down.
I don't think I could ever do that, my hair is my pride and joy. I give the biggest kudos to the girls who can rock it though.
I've had a pixie cut before and I hated it. I don't care if I live to 110, I will have long hair for the rest of my life. Good luck!
I'm a guy who prefers about shoulder length hair(though I've fallen for a girl with shorter cut hair before), but like others are saying, it's your hair so you are the one who ultimately gets to live with what you see in the mirror each day.
FUCK NO!
No, I could never go that short.
If it's really what you want to try, then I say go for it.
I just cut my hair short. Not that short, but like just under my chin. I liked my longer hair, better. lol And as someone else mentioned, I don't care how old I get, I'll probably have longer hair for the rest of my life, lol.
I agree, it takes some personality. Also, remember (at least stereotypically) homosexuals, men and women, tend to have short haircuts. Also, unless your breast/cleavage or something femininity you are carrying is showing, you run into the trouble of someone thinking you are male. I had this happen in retail once when a woman had a short haircut and was trying on mens clothing. I told her the mens was to my left and she told me she wasn't a man, so I told her - ok, then you need to go left (AWKWARD). In addition, now I work at the hospital and just the other day a patient had a short haircut and I just did a quick glance and she kinda looked like an overweight man, so I asked what the families relation was to him - and the nurse corrected me that it was a her (SO EMBARRASSING!, ha ha). Just some thoughts!
I went that short once, on accident. Guy slaughtered my hair without my knowing. =( But I pulled it off the best I could!! Wasn't the best look on me but I had to make it work.
No, I don't think it would work well with my face and I just....don't really find them pretty at all. There's something extremely feminine about long hair. I have mine down to my waist and people always tell me to never cut it. lol
Nope. Back when I had short hair, I was bullied for being ugly. -_-;;
I personally like having long hair. The shortest I've had it was a chin length bob cut. I didn't care for the way it looked, but it was really easy to manage. I think I'll stick with my long hair until I go through some sort of mid-life crisis.
my hair is to my chin in a bob right now. that's as short as it'll ever go.
If you're not happy with it, why would anyone else like to see you unhappy?
all 3 of the women in that photo have very similar facial shapes... compare your facial shape (can't tell too well from the angle in your photo) against theirs - you'll get a guestimate of how the look will be on you.
the celebrity examples don't look appealing because they are too short & flat and look like geeky boys. I like sharon stone and halle berry's slightly long messy pixie hairstyle. I like similar lush hairstyles on men.

eh. keep your hair long while youre still young. you have your whole life to wear it short
I would love to be able to pull off a pixie but, but I don't think it goes well with the shape of my face.
Pitfall to avoid: Just because a hairstyle looks nice on a celebrity does not mean it will suit you! Different face shapes require different hairstyles.
@heart_leigh@xanga - lots of confidence. Who knows you look good with it:)
@Red_Apocalypse_Horse@xanga - this is the part i agree with you. facial structure is more important that the famous hairstyle:) thank you
@TakingxOverxMe@xanga - you have pretty face shape:)
@hollowhopes@xanga - You are right. This is like a wake up call
