  • What's Your "Type"?

Recently, I've been discovering that I am slightly bisexual. The reason it took me so long to figure out is because I realized how picky I was about the females I was attracted to as opposed to a much broader attraction to males. Though I definitely do have a type in men, I have an even more specific type in women.

    My type (guys and girls):
Hipster, thin, witty, into the same TV shows as myself.

    Just Girls:
Petite, small boobs (other women's boobs actually make me uncomfortable - I know, it's weird, yet I'm still attracted to certain women sexually), long hair, artistic.

Do you have a type in general? Is there a "type" that you would go gay/straight for? What's your "type" that really just attracts you to someone?

I didn't think I had a "type" until I looked back over my old boyfriends and realized they were all gamers. This took place after marrying a gamer. I don't even like games, so who knows where that interest comes from.

who is that chica in the photo?  cause i would be ALL over that shit.

  • Grtt@xanga

I don't think I really have a type, not physically at least. I just like decent people who are comfortable with themselves.

  • longbraidsandrainbowsuspenders@xanga

someone that's the complete opposite of me. also, it helps if he's a writer.. i like my men articulate ;)

  • prettykay04@xanga

    i like them tall&skinny :)

all guys I have liked are all that type.
  • maggodactyl@xanga

    Tall, toned, tan... classically handsome.

  • reesa14@xanga

males: Tall, meaty, NO SKINNY GUYS FOR MEE. dresses like an average dude. T-shirt/band shirt and jeans and that's all he needs. facial hair. nice smile.

female: I also like small boobs! I have a very strong attraction to small boobs and I'm just not a fan of big boobs. thin. tiny butt. I like tiny girls. If a girl has a unique style I'm usually attracted to her. mostly artsy/punk/alternative girls catch my eye. but other types can strike my fancy too.

@JEDIJESSICUH@xanga - lol gamers oh dear im dealing with one right now

  • JEDIJESSICUH@xanga

@AZnLostfantacy@xanga - I love my husband, but I never realized how much time he spent gaming before we got married and moved in together. With only one tv I was confined to reading books more often or playing online games. Tsk, tsk. It's a good thing I love him or else I would soooooo not put up with it.

  • AZnLostfantacy@xanga

I always tend to go for the tall/ skinny type and they always end up being a gamer as well for some odd reason.. personality plays a big part but looks do matter as much as people say it doesnt i think it does. But not everyone is perfect tho so someone that meets in the middle of attractiveness and good personality and im happy.

I'm straight. I feel similarly to you about women's boobs. some are sexy to look at but sexually, I'm not attracted to boobs and although I have boobs of my own, in general, I find them rather unappealing, because they are mostly bags of fat, unless they are fake, which is a bag of silicone or whatever liquid they use. those giant asses that some men are attracted to and big hips don't appeal to me, but I'm not looking for any child bearing hips or whatever in a partner since I'm a woman:D so I don't think I would go gay for another woman and even if she was toned and thin, female genetalia just doesn't turn me on. I find everything about men more attractive.  so I like the subtle curves on petite bodies. that's why I'm mainly just attracted to toned men and toned bodies in general. any jiggly or parts big enough to bounce might be appealing to others but not to me. to each their own. tall men get my attention the quickest. three of the asian men were coincidentally all 6'2" and all were viet, which is rare since they are usually an average of around 5'6"?>_< they were also slim. some were toned and some weren't toned but just slim. they all had gorgeous smiles and that is really what initially attracted me to them. when they smile, my heart skips a beat some of them have been shorter than preferred, which I didn't mind, because his smile was like insanely adorable and I felt like how can I say no to that smile.

tall and skinny.  red or blonde hair.  funny and confident.  slightly hipster/indie.  into music.  intelligent.  and I never really planned this, but they've all been into science/science majors. . .

  • GreenTeaReverie@xanga

Professor-bookish-fairytale-loving-C.S. Lewis type. Must love adventure and beauty, and be able to appreciate it in a genuine, quiet way.

Physically, I have always had very specific taste, unwillingly. I can see a man who's technically extremely handsome, yet not be drawn to him or attracted to him in the least. There is a certain type that draws my eyes and elicits a physical arousal: large blue eyes, classic grecian face, darkish hair, broad shoulder--but-not-muscular build. Like Paul Newman.
Thankfully, my fiance fits the bill. :)
  • xraindropsonroses@xanga

Medium built to chubby body type. Usually the sweet quiet type or the extremely loud... no happy medium. Dark hair.

That's what I have noticed anyways, but I'm not against other types of guys :)

  • katethoughts@xanga

OMG. my girl friend is your totally your type.

my type has changed. i used to be into the beefcakes, now im into the smartass skinny tall boy.
  • superGchik@xanga

i'm straight so i only go for straight guys.  they don't have to be too tall bc i'm not very tall, anything over 5'8 would be good.  i don't like skinny guys, gotta have some meat and muscles.  i like him to have short hair and nice teeth.  personality has to match mines bc if it doesn't, it's not going to workout.

people always say they have a "type" but when it comes to me, he's never really my type, there are some things that don't always match but those are the things i love about him most.
  • thatsnotarealword@xanga

I'm not sure I could seriously date a woman who wasn't obsessed with words, if for no other reason than that we'd run out of things to talk about pretty quickly. If I ever met someone who was blatantly consumed - in a way that isn't obnoxious - by the art of poetry or theatre, it might be a good thing. (Although, it might be pretty bad, to be fair.) Linguists are fair game too.

I go for redheads and Midwestern blondes (if that makes sense), but whatever sort of "type" this all builds up to is more or less non-existent or engaged/married. So, there's that.
  • usagiidesu@xanga

I don't think I have a type, but looking back I've noticed that my ex's were all really into sports. So a sporty type? I just like guys that are funny and down to earth.

  • TakingxOverxMe@xanga

For the longest time, my type was douchebag.  Now I've moved on to the nice guy.

  • Southeast_Beauty@xanga

my type can't be summed up in words. it's too amazing.

  • starcrossedloversdivine@xanga

Guido boys will always have my heart, but I have a soft spot for the skinny emo/hipster boy somewhere in there. I've found though, the "sensitive" type boys can be worse assholes than the meathead jerks! I like a guy to have large pecs & biceps, nice toned calves and quads, and a good taste in (house) music.

  • mystic_sapphire@xanga

Don't have physical type at all. White, black, green, blue; tall, short; chubby, skinny. Doesn't matter.

  • chl2issy@xanga

I like hot and muscular. Duh ;)

  • laytexduckie@xanga

I have no particular type. Just looking for a nice girl who loves to laugh, have fun and very laid back.

  • benman02@xanga

Short to average height women, around 5'5 or so. Light brunette or dark blonde hair is my favorite. Brown or green eyes are amazing. I'm attracted to petite women usually. Skinny, shy, reserved. If a girl has a unique style (but not bizarre or emo) then her creativiteness definitely attracts me. I'm an artist guy, kind of hipster I guess. I find creativity and uniqueness to a girl to be very sexy. It just says she isn't afraid to be herself in front of everybody else. Definitely awesome.
