Things I Wanted to Say...
For those of us that are married or have SO's, there has probably been a time when you wanted to say something but held back for one reason or another or you've done something that you haven't told your SO.
Here's a list of things I've wanted to say/do to my wife:
1) The first time you made cupcakes, I nearly died. So much salt. I wanted to say, "Beautiful, salt is the one you put in dinner, not dessert." (Salt in limited qualities is awesome in dessert though.) I didn't because you had worked so hard on them to make me something I could stomach after radiation. Your smile, the way you wrung your hands and looked at me expectantly, the apprehension in your eyes made me not only stomach one cupcake, I ate a second one just to see you smile.
2) When we officially adopted Alnair, you fought with me to hold him first. I wanted to say, "He's my son too and I was the one who found him!" but I didn't. The way he sighed when you kissed his forehead and the tears in your eyes stopped me.
3) Whenever you feed Alnair or hold him, he holds the free end of your hijab to his face. When you're not home, I place a hijab close to him so he feels that you're near. He always cuddles up to it.
4) The first time I heard you sing, I felt I was listening to an angel. When you spotted me, you froze and faltered. I wanted to give you a kiss at your cuteness, but I didn't because I wanted to hear you sing some more.
5) Whenever you kiss Alnair, he visibly gasps. Whenever you give me a kiss, I internally gasp. *Gasp* This beautiful woman is my wife?
6) When you fought me, persuaded me to let you move with me to Japan, internally I was wishing you would win the argument because I hate leaving your side, but your safety always stopped me from saying so.
So far that's all I remember. I'll write more as I remember more.
What have you wanted to say to your SO but didn't? Write your own post!

I don't know but I found this very sweet. :) There are always things to say and sometimes don't...I'm learning what to say and what shouldn't be said.
Oh my goodness, this is precious. I always want to say things, but I never know when to. Someday when I get married, I feel like I'll let my list for that person out.

Your post is very sweet and touching. I can literally feel your loving words to your wife. Oh, if that is your wife up there, she's very beautiful. As ShirleyD@xanga mentioned, your wife is lucky indeed.
@heart_leigh@xanga - lol, That's not my wife. My wife sticks to no makeup. But thank you.
This was very sweet. :)
If there was one thing I could say to my husband, it's this:
I love when you go to bed at night and just before I leave the room you lift up my shirt and say good night to my belly. You're going to make a great father.
