Dane's Response to Carly's Sex Songs
Earlier this week, Carly wrote a post about her top 10 favorite songs to which sex is enjoyable. I totally loved it and decided to do my own list. (This is not a competition, I repeat: This is not a competition between Carly and myself.) I just thought it would be fun to get some other music tastes out there.I'm definitely old school when it comes to music that turns me on, so most of you are probably going to prefer Carly's list, but that's okay. I just love the idea so much that I can't pass up a chance to share my own list.
Here it be (in no such order):
- I'll Make Love To You- Boyz II Men
- Let's Get It On- Marvin Gaye (a total fucking classic... for a damn good reason.)
- Bump N' Grind- R. Kelly (though please don't do this in R. Kelly fashion: no statutory raping)
- Too Close- Next
- For The Love Of You- The Isley Brothers
- Mesmerize- Ja Rule ft. Ashanti
- Sex Me- R. Kelly
- Sexual Healing- Marvin Gaye
Some of my favorite lines so you know I ain't bluffin':
"I've been sanctified. Girl you give me good feelings... Something like summertime" -Let's Get It On
"My mind's tellin' me no, but my body's tellin' me yes..." Actually, just listen to the entirety of Bump N' Grind. It's that sexy.
Too Close starts with him saying "I wonder if she can tell I'm hard right now." So, that pretty much sums it up.

I hate both of your lists, but I also hate music during sex.
I want to hear the heavy breathing / moaning / whispering dirty nothings.
Also isn't R. Kelly the guy that was into child porn and having sex with 15 year old girls? Yeah...that's not sexy.

this list is sexier. black mens' voices are hotter to me than white:P just personal preference. some of their voices is as if they have a built-in subwoofer because it echos and makes my heart palpitate

Music is about the last thing on my mind while having sex.
music cuts out the distractions.
sex is a mental process mostly , if your mind isn't in it because a dog's barking outside or whatever, then you won't enjoy it as much
Her list is worse than yours but they're both god awful
@testyman666@xanga - So you can't focus on sex if a dog is barking outside, but music in the room isn't distracting? :/ That makes no sense.

i never looked at her list. but no less, i agree with a lot of people who have said they dont like music during sex. i cant do it with music playing. i cant diddle to porn if there is music going on in it either lol. just cant!
I'm not into golden showers, so if someone played R. Kelly before we got it on, I'd be QUITE concerned.

not necessarily just during sex for songs, but some lapdance music during foreplay. I love dressing up so I tease my guy prior to the main event and might use music as sexy background music. different strokes for different folks.
You forgot Yakety Sax.
If I listen to music during sex I'd rather there be little to no lyrics. Especially sexual lyrics. It's just too redundent. So I tend to stick to electronic or metal.
Music and sex are a nice combination for me...especially for those all night long times. Blink 182, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Killers, etc all did it for me some year ago!
