Sleep Stripping
I woke up without my shirt and PJ pants on one morning after sleeping over my boyfriend's place. It's the middle of winter and the only thing keeping us warm in his room was a weak space heater.
"Hey there," my boyfriend said with a smirk on his face.
"What?"
"Way to strip in your sleep.""Oh. Damn. That's was definitely a one time thing, don't expect to wake up to this every time I'm here!"
I could understand doing this in the summer if it was really hot, but it was the middle of winter and absolutely freezing in my boyfriend's apartment, so I don't think I sleep stripped because I was sweating or something. Did I have some racy dream? Did I just want to get naked?
I recall one of my friends in high school telling me that his "fun fact" was that he sleep strips almost every night, regardless of who is in the room or where he ends up crashing for the night. He attributed it to going to sleep horny. And back then I thought, that's so weird?! I can't imagine what it would be like sharing a room with my sister and stripping in my sleep--problem an unwelcome surprise for her to wake up to.
I'm living back at my parents' house for the summer. Thus far I have only sleep stripped once or twice, but I think it might have been because our air-conditioning broke and it's been a sweltering hot summer for us. At least I have my own room!

I sleep walk. And yes, a lot of time it for whatever reason involves me taking my clothes off. *sigh* Although, on another note. Sometimes my sleep walking involves me drinking green Kool-aid and playing Super Mario Sunshine. I've never beaten the game...awake...
I did that when I was a kid I was taking off my underwear and I thought someone else was doing it.
Ha! Yeah, I do it sometimes.
I have done it quite a few times, but it seems to happen most often when I am sleeping restlessly.
no, I haven't, but right before my period arrives, I get very horny and feel like taking my clothes off all the time

my sister has done it. and then she proceeded not to be able find her shirt anywhere in the house. it was quite strange.
I used to do that when I was a kid actually so it clearly doesn't always have to do with whether you're horny or not. It's kind of scary though as a kid when you wake up and you're naked and wondering how the hell it happened...
Hahaha that happens to me sometimes. It's kind of weird but I'm glad I'm not the only one who has had this happen
I actually go to sleep without a shirt on sometimes and wake up with one on haha. I don't really know how that happens.
I've never heard of this before but find it pretty interesting to read about. I've never sleep stripped before and I don't know anyone who has, but myself a a handful of friends like to sleep in the nude so we wouldn't have anything to take off anyway. It's just more comfortable that way. Unfortunately I still live with my family so I have to lock my doors as they tend to barge into my room. Awkwaaaard. When I sleep, I usually don't move around that much and I rarely have any violent jerks or motions. When I do it's because I'm having a really intense dream and I think it's real so my body reacts.
@P0RCELA1N_D0LL@xanga - I don't think people need to be horny to want to take off their clothes and go around naked. Not wearing clothes is just so much more comfortable! If I wasn't so self conscious about my body I'd probably be a nudist.
@sunflowersforlove@xanga - Are you serious? That's so funny! Are there usually shirts lying on or around your bed that allow you to do this or do shirts from a closet/dresser magically appear on you?

hot temperatures is another reason. however, even in 100+ degree weather, I keep most of my clothes on and wear pants instead of shorts and 3/4th sleeved shirts instead of tank tops, so I don't have the urge to shed clothing despite temps, but my urge leans more towards the horny side.
@loneshadow_wolf@xanga - It's usually from on my bed, but a few times it's been from the dresser. It's really weird. I do really weird things in my sleep though haha.
I hate clothes so I sleep in as little as possible and usually wake up with nothing on. People know to make sure I'm awake and knock before entering my room.
I have been known to strip sleep. I wake up at least once a week with my shirt or tank on the floor. ehh, not big deal I guess..
I consistantly sleep strip, usually just my shirt, hoodie, and shorts/pants. I don't sleep walk, so it's weird to fall asleep fully clothed and wake up in only a sports bra and spandex.
