• Fantasy Fulfilled? 19-Year-Old Babysitter Accused of Having Sex with a 14-Year-Old Boy

  
  A 19-year-old woman with an odd name from Clinton, Conn. was charged with second-degree sexual assault, two counts of impairing the morals of a child and permitting a minor to possess alcohol on Tuesday. Loni Bouchard, pictured above, had consensual sex with a 14-year-old boy for a period of about half a year. She's ironically to appear at Middlesex Superior Court on the 29th of July, 2011.

  I don't know about you, but as horny teenagers willing to hump the stuffing out of a pillow and holes into our socks, my male comrades and I fantasized about being taken by a hot, female babysitter. We were just-turned-teens, and the mass sprouting of boobs we had been subjected to only intensified our urges. They grew over those chilly autumn days and hibernated through the coldest of winters. Come spring time, they sprung like our collective, youthful willy-dongs in the presence of mental pornography assuredly realized.

  Unfortunately for us, we were living in New York City, and not in one of the rich buildings, either. We were growing up in the projects, where the thought of even being babysat by anyone other than your mom's ugly, overweight, immigrant friend was laughable at best. See, in the city, especially in low income buildings, you're left to fend for yourself. If you want Fruit Loops, you're fucking buying it at the local store if money isn't tight. You're going to school alone, and you better hope you don't lose that full-fare public school Metrocard.

  We weren't in the suburbs or coming from privileged families willing to spread around that corporate wealth to ensure that we were in bed at decent hours and not breaking random heirlooms and other various voodoo artifacts. What we saw on the television was not a reflection of our lives, but rather what we wanted and where we wanted to be if only for the potential sex we'd be getting illegally from a pigtailed blonde with a penchant for sexual molestation. It's a very common fantasy for your average teenage male.

  
  While it violates state laws, the sex in this case was consensual, and thinking back on my early teen years, you better believe that 14-year-old boy was enjoying every minute of it. It starts to become a little more complicated when you factor in gender and role reversals, though.

  What if the genders were reversed? Society still views women as weak and unable to make decisions regarding sex at an earlier age, even though people are quick to say that women mature much faster. So if women mature at a quicker pace, why do men normally get harsher sentences and a greater media backlash? It's exactly because of what I described earlier and what I technically did with this article: Men are more sexually open, and are rewarded for it. Women are the child bearers, so they're expected to be picky when it comes to sexual partners. We, on the other hand, are simply boys being boys!

  Most women hold back their sexual urges and don't make any passes or advances because of how society chooses to label them, and possibly due to biological differences between the two genders. They're sluts, harlots, and a myriad of other funny sounding names. Since this is our reality, a man in Loni Bouchard's position would quickly be deemed a monster and a rapist because men are the aggressors and the pursuers. But is this really grounded on biological differences? That's for another time.

  To put it another way, men are expected to get shot down often because they're doing the pursuing, and women are the choosers. While that's happening, guys are assumed to eternally be in a position of power, so to act on a younger girl would be an abuse of power. Younger women are easier to convince, so for a man to take advantage of the situation is just unthinkable according to societal norms. However, a guy getting offered sex by an older woman is a reversal of roles which seldom happens, so the male is expected to take advantage of it. For women, again, it's all too common to get an offering or two of man-meat.

  It's almost tiring having to bring up the same old argument about the outcome of cases if we reverse roles, but it always appears to be relevant. It boils down to this:

  Older girl violates younger boy - "What a God damn hero... that a lucky son of a bitch. He did it for every teenage boy out there who will never get to experience older vagina at an early age! Legendary."
  Older boy violates younger girl - "Throw that asshole in prison to rot with the roaches and leftover dinner rats. I hope he gets fucked in the ass by big, black dudes."

  
  One variable we can throw into the mix though is the attractiveness of the sexual aggressor. In this case, Loni is one hell of an attractive babysitter. This plays into the congratulatory response the boy will get, while the actual crime gets buried behind cheers. If the woman in question had been unattractive, more hate would be thrown in her direction because it's assumed that no guy would want to touch her vagina with a meter stick wrapped in an extra-extra-large condom for safety.
  

  However, since it's a tired argument, here's a little bit of a twist to make things interesting:

  Should parents hold any sort of responsibility in these cases? They're allowing a near stranger to take care of their child, though in some cases they're even family members or good friends. These individuals normally aren't filing taxes for the money they earn, nor are they being held responsible by a legitimate company to do their work at a satisfactory level. You're basically hiring an untested subject to look after your kid, and in this case, what some would call a prostitute due to the exchange of money. Better yet, they unknowingly did the kid a favor. Scratch that, MANY favors.

  You never know what babysitters are doing behind your back, but time and time again, we hear about these cases where the child is either physically or sexually abused. Installing cameras is one tactic that works wonders, and it should be done more regularly if you're even thinking of entrusting your child's health and safety in the hands of a stranger or near stranger. The benefits of these cameras are endless; you can catch your partner drunkenly cheating or even make home videos of the xxx variety. Know that the money you spend is worth it.

  Does Loni deserve harsh punishment for her sexual acts? Should parents be held responsible in any way with cases such as this? What do you think about gender differences? Would you hit it? I certainly would.
