I'm a Male That Loves Cuddling More Than Sex
Those who know me the best (i.e. talk to me regularly) know I'm a bit of a sex-hound. When I'm in the right place (i.e. dating someone XD) I pretty much want sex almost constantly. Or I'm talking about it a lot. But it might come as a surprise that I actually prefer cuddling to sex despite my insatiable appetite for the horizontal shuffle.Sure, sex is amazing with all the rooting around each other and the sweat and sounds. All of it is pretty damn awesome. But there's just something so calming about cuddling. Sex is a (mostly) chaotic affair of flying sheets, splayed clothing, and the occasional screaming. Cuddling, though? When you're cuddling there is nothing but calm, peace. It's comfortable and intimate all in one. And when you can spend time playing with her hair, or just staring into her eyes while she stares back? Iuno, I just feel like everything is exactly as it should be.
Also, I never have to worry about the cuddling being over sooner than it should be -coff- ;)
Plus with sex you're really supposed to be concentrated on what you're doing for it to be good. At least with me. With cuddling you can watch a movie, snack on foods, listen to music (though you can do this with sex), or even play video games (x2 more awesome if she's playing as well, or interested in watching).
Both are awesome, but in the long run I enjoy cuddling way more than having sex.

I love cuddling after sex. Or if my husband and I cuddle, it always lead to sex.. o'well!
Cuddling is that moment when you know everything is right in your world. You feel safe, you feel loved, you feel warm... good times =] plus, it tends to lead to more sex!
I feel the same way actually. As much as I like sex (with the right guy), the cuddling part is the best part. Feeling totally at peace with the other person and getting to stare into their eyes and just... Getting to be with them! I love the feeling of security and warmth. It's wonderful. <3

Seriously though, cuddling is amazing when done right after eating a box of Papa John's and not wanting to move out of bed for a few hours.

I don't mind it on vacation yea, after sex sure! , random times ok
but not too long though, I get lethargic laying there and want to get up and do things.
I'll cuddle with her for 20 minutes if she comes to the gym for 20 minutes after :)

Meh. I find it kind of a turn-off if my boyfriend doesn't love love love sex. I once knew a guy who was clinically depressed and LOVED cuddling so much more than sex and it was the biggest turn-off ever.
I can see why some might like one more then the other. Everyone is different. I like both equally for completely different reasons. Cuddling makes me feel safe and wanted in a loving way. Sex makes me feel pure desire from myself and the other person and gives me the opportunity to let loose those animalistic feelings.
And for the record I've had enjoyable sex while playing video games before :P

lol, it's weird, but in my experience most guys are this way. they just don't admit it. Every guy ever is a bigger cuddle whore than I am, and trust me I am... or maybe I'm just cute. Either way.

@my_horizon@xanga - Well, I get what you're saying and I understand. I guess what the gist of my article was that while I'll take on sex whenever presented, I really love the way I feel when I'm cuddling a lot more. If that makes any sense.

@OstentatiousEloquence@xanga - Guys are way more romantic than women seem to give us credit for. We're just conditioned by society to be "quiet" and "unemotive" about these things. I, obviously, don't buy into that BS. :D
You know all the things you can do while cuddling? You know you can do all of them while having sex right? Read them again. Picture it in your head. Key: Imagine different positions. Imagine your both into it. How awesome is that? Riiiight? I know right? :)
But yeah I agree cuddling rules, especially 15-30 minutes after evening (not nighttime) sex, so you can be really drowsy, stick a film on, lazily drink/shovel food into your mouth and then fall asleep in each others arms entirely by accident, but in actuality planned all along. Awesome.
@AsylumBlue - Yes! Yes! Papa Johns! Yes! We only just got one round the corner from us here in Britain. It is SO much better than any of our other take out places. Can you believe all the other take out places apart from Domino's and Papa Johns put the ingrediants entirely under the cheese. Every pizza looks like a margiata and the ingrediants are often uncooked! Papa Johns for the win!

@jeezshoua@xanga - Yeah, my wife and I can hardly ever cuddle without having sex. She just goes wild for my body and cannot control herself.
Cuddling is awesome. I don't think anything feels better than having her head on my chest and my arms wrapped around her.
I enjoy foreplay teasing more than sex or gradually being seduced than rushing to sex.
