• Five LOVE Haiku

  
  

  Love! It makes us ravenous and dizzy. Sometimes so dizzy we can only manage a few syllables. At such times, only a haiku will do.
   

   

  when life winks at me

  i want to rush out the door

  and wink it to you

   

   

  taking a shower

  true stink down the drain spinning 

  i like the you-smells

   

   

  heart outside ribcage

  soaring sky and bottomless hole

  finally alive

   

   

  never wanted them

  til I imagined your face

  inside their faces

   

   

  need has no place here

  but you're too precious to lose

  love's core is fearful
