Yay or Nay on the Feather Trend?
SO I don't know if everyone has seen the new feather hair trend going around, but I was just wondering what everyone thinks about it. Is it cute or not so much? Personally, I love it and I have 5 bundles of feathers!
Guys, is it an attractive look on women?
Girls, do you like them and would you get one for yourself?

Love it.
Oh yes I've seen this! I personally wouldn't do it because that just doesn't match me or my style but I've seen it on some girls and they match it. It's very eye-catching and funky, it's cool. I kind of think of it as an event thing, like you don't wear it everyday, but it's good for going to a concert or some kind of fun event.
meh, it's not my style. too hippy.
yay, i have a feather in my dreadlock
@itwaswritteninblood@xanga - that sounds beautiful! i miss my dreads..
i like the feather trend if it matches the girl's style/personality. i absolutely love it on my sister, but i don't really like it on this other girl i know...it doesn't "go" with her lol.
@Jessaie_de_maigrir@xanga - i only have one dreadlock haha thinking about putting another in though
@itwaswritteninblood@xanga - oh really? that's cool, is it like underneath your hair? i had a friend that had that :) a full set of dreadlocks is surprisingly a lot of maintenance (even though it looks to people that it's no maintenance), that's why i eventually took mine out...but i have naturally very soft, fine baby-like hair so that's probably why it was so hard for me to maintain them.
So hot website ! Don't miss it !

@Jessaie_de_maigrir@xanga - yeah its underneath, thinking about getting a second but it is alot of maintenance with all the tightening and rolling, dont think i'd ever get a full head though
@itwaswritteninblood@xanga - yeah, it took me 6+ hours to dread my whole head...and even longer to get them out (i didn't want to cut them out so i soaked them in a bath full of conditioner for like a full day...it was so awful)
lol shouldnt this be on lovelyish
I'm an idiot. I thought it was a braid.
I think it mostly looks stupid.
It looks doubly stupid if your hair isn't straight.@Jessaie_de_maigrir@xanga - fuck man, if i want rid of mine i'll just chop it.
was your hair not dead horrible after brushing them out?
id have to say nay on this.
i haven't seen anyone doing this irl, so i don't want to jump to a judgment. BUT i do want to know--what's the deal with these wedge shoes? stick with the heels, ladies. (and do it keeping in mind that i'm the only straight guy that will ever notice.)
kesha wore the feather extensions, then the trend started. hair accessory to a party, yes, but for everyday style, no.
@itwaswritteninblood@xanga - it wasn't dead, it was actually silky because of the loads of conditioner, but it was WAAAAY thinner than it normally was, i lost so much hair in the process
its called offensive. its called cultural misappropriation. it is by no means called cute. taking someone else's culture and making it part of your hair because you think it's 'cute' is a horribly ignorant thing to do.
@suz - How is
embracinganother culture offensive? Plus, I have a lot of Cherokee blood so it
ISmy culture.
@lonelystrangergirl@xanga - lol. You are not an idiot, people compliment me on my "braids" all of the time. They definitely look braid-like. :)
@TheNotoriousGOD@xanga - Wedge shoes are cute! High heels are sexy! They both have their place. Wedges go well with sun dresses!
@itwaswritteninblood@xanga - Do you have a picture of it? That sounds really neat!
@raspbxrrryjam@xanga - You can curl them to match your hair texture!
@anotherdreamwasted_onyou@xanga - Wow, your hair is so red, it's beautiful! I used to have red hair and I really miss it!
