  • My Top Three Love Songs

Last week I did a post on my top three break-up songs. To prove I’m not that depressing, pathetic or cynical I am here are my top three love songs.

    3. 311’s – (covering The Cure) Love Song
Don’t get me wrong, The Cure rocked the house with tracks like ‘Just Like Heaven’ and ‘Friday I’m In Love’ but when 311 decided to cover ‘Love Song’ it made my little eardrums flutter. It’s prefect. No doubt in my mind that song won’t be played at least 15 times at my wedding. The lyrics are relatable but still so romantic.

    2. U2 – With or Without You
Triumphant ballad. At around minute 3:00, the build from The Edge’s guitar and Larry’s drums are just like that feeling when you know you’ve fallen for someone. Was that too cheesy?

    1. Radiohead – All I Need

These five guys can do no wrong. Thom Yorke is like nothing else, it is unmistakable and perfect for the mood of the song. If you listen to these lyrics, the song isn’t your typical love song. It’s a little twisted but I like it. Also, their newest album is just as good.
