• Meet The Writer: Lourdes!

  
  Hello, fellow Daters! I am writing all the way from Miami, Florida. Yeah, I’m from the one state where it didn’t snow this winter… again. But I am also one of those people who live 20 minutes from the beach.

  My dating life, I think has been pretty ordinary. I had the elementary school crush that’ll never forget. I’ve met the one guy I wish I could forget and I’ve had plenty of dates in between that I am happy to share if it’ll forewarn my fellow daters. 

  What I typically look for in a guy: he has to have a sense of humor and have the ability to challenge me. If our conversation doesn’t stimulate my brain, it usually won’t last long.

  What I typically (foolishly) fall for: I’m sucker for anything over 6 feet. I don’t know what it is. I have nothing against average sized guys, just look at Mark Wahlberg. Aside from that, I fall quickly for guys who have an aloof attitude and who are spontaneous. Most of time, these traits can lead to tragedy.

  What I like: I like long walks on the beach and… just kidding. Dinner-and-a-movie date is cool but something out-of-the-ordinary dates will always catch my attention better.
