I (Respectfully) Call You A Dumbass
I just read this Datingish post about a guy who physically abused his girlfriend and talks about how... well actually I don't quite know the POINT of that post.
You have to read it for yourself.
Now that you've read this you see where I'm coming from.
Just the fact that he goes from "I hit this girl" without sounding really apologetic about it at all in my opinion, then he goes into this whole "females play games, all females have something wrong with them" sort of a deal.
Uhhh, didn't you SLAP the girl? Did you not call your ex while you were with her and knew it was wrong, which means you obviously were talking/texting something that you were not supposed to. And did you not say your ex understood that those girls did not mean anything? And I'm kind of curious as to why you say "girls" plural.
So basically, aren't you in the wrong? I mean, if your ex had done something wrong, which you did not tell us why you slapped the girl, (which, based on your other post confessing that you slapped her just because you could get away with it), you would have written that out right off the bat.
So, I'm just kind of wondering why you are so negative about females and saying they are playing games with you...
Hello, dude, you need a serious wake up call.
Respectfully, I call you a dumbass. Not because I'm being mean, but because you are.
And for the record, everyone has something wrong with them, not just females. You definitely have issues CLEARLY.
And how about since you think the women around you are being dumb, why not try to explore your options more openly?
After you grow up, of course. And stay single for a loooooooooooooong time.
What do you think about this guy's post and attitude in general?

I think you nailed it pretty well. I remember reading it and just...not knowing what to say.
This "kid" you're talking about clearly has a lot of growing up to do. I would advise all females I know to steer clear of this jerk. Just look at his user name, **isawesome? Sounds like he's got some narcissistic tendencies, not really all that consistent with good relationship material.
Yeah lashing out at your partener is really never aceptable in my opinion.
I Respectfully agree :D
(to play devils advocate though, i guess it was brave to post something like that for the world to read)
this was my response to the post as well.
Sounds like you are going into excruciating detail as how bad he seems to you.
But I won't say you're wrong. I saw the guys post, and expected something like either an apology or reasonings as to why he did what he did. Overall, I just walked away with the notion that he struck his woman. Man, won't he live such a post down.
Honestly, the guy seems to have little regard for how he seems to people. In fact, he might actually be a troll judging by his profile description. I just pray that he is not as ignorant as to believe that women are the only ones who are flawed and to see the other flaws in his thinking, and actions, even aside slapping his ex girlfriend, the games he was playing on her- that he stated all women play.
Clearly he has maturity issues. I read that post and I had no idea what to say to the imbecile.
LOVE.
I hate it when people like him half-assedly admit their wrongs just to get pity/attention. When will they learn that doing this only makes them look more like scumbags?
Shouldn't this have just stayed in the comments section of that guy's post? Knowing Datingish, we're going to have a post responding to this one, then another from the author who wrote the ORIGINAL post, and then yet another about the subject, and on and on.
(By necessity these posts will also have really misleading titles so we will be suckered into reading them despite not caring about the issue anymore.)
This was exactly what I was thinking when I read that. I didn't even comment because I was so speechless. There didn't really seem a point to it. I guess it's good that he was able to accept what he did or whatever, but there is never a good reason to hit a female.
@BFB1131@xanga - Agreed on both counts. What has to go through someone's mind for them to feel the need to post something like that, though? It's neither an appology, nor an excuse.
(But to play devil's advocate, everything doesn't always need a definition)
In order to actually call someone a dumbass and it be respectful, you might need to know a little more. You are completely bashing this guy without actually knowing him. I don't think hitting his ex girlfriend was that great of an idea but wait. Rather than judging his ideas, ask for more, because you do not have enough. His post was full of holes which if filled in could seriously change the situation. Perhaps not to one in which the guy is in the right but definitely different.
You. GO. I love how you called the guy out for it. Someone like that clearly needs to be rapped repeatedly on the forehead with a spoon, like right in between the eyes. (Ever had someone do that? It hurts like HELL, for the record.)
It's so retared how the people with issues are the first to say that other people have them. Why don't they try and be introspective for a change? I don't get why people are negative about certain groups of people as a whole, for their gender, race, religion, whatever.
What he needs to have done to him is get slapped upside the head by his mom.
chea...I was kinda confused with that post. I didn't know what the hell was going on.
I just knew he hit her and that was about it. Everything else was all over the placethat guy is an idiot.
Anyone who abuses ANYONE for ANY reason in ANY form has something wrong with them and needs help! Especially if they think they're right.
@ZombieLenore@xanga - Are you defending his actions? Are you justifying abuse? I sure hope not. If he admitted to hitting his girlfriend, that's all you NEED to know.
@deemure@xanga - I agree
@deemure@xanga - I want to say his heart is in the right place and he knows he is wrong and "attempting" an apology (I hope...) but he is just really REALLY bad at explaining it. There is clear signs of regret. Though the end sounds like he is justifying his actions when really nothing justifies this. :S.
he stumbled over his words alot when he was trying to justify himself >.> until i read this i actually got all of what was going on X D
I was beyond confuzzled after reading his post few days ago. I was like "uhm... say what?!". I have been wondering that maybe I got something wrong or skipped every second line, but it was not the case. Do not ask me why such a blog was even featured. Xanga, wake up call! Make better choices on who you feature!!! Anyway, I AGREE WITH YOU :)
@explosive@xanga - I mentioned that hitting your girlfriend was bad. But his entire post was just about that. There was more and thus more is need. To completely understand this guy you need more and to bash that which you don't understand is ignorant.
@explosive@xanga - Also on your comment 'any abuse' includes argument, or to say more specifically, verbal abuse. Have you ever yelled at someone? Don't tell me you haven't. Because that's abuse and you have something wrong with you.
I think that guy is a stupid f-u-c-k, he admits to hitting a girl (bravo for admitting his faults), but then tries to give himself a pass by saying well everyone has something wrong with them and she kind of deserved it. STUPID, STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!
it was a stupid post.
