  • Chick Flick Moments That Even GUYS Can Love

If I were to poll a group of guys (and I won't do that, because let's face it, I have a life to lead) I would guess that most would say they don't like the so-called "chick flicks."

Now, before you all jump down my throat, please listen. I know not ALL guys hate romantic comedies, or even movies targeted for a female audience. This is just to say that MOST men probably aren't jumping up and down when their girlfriends drag them to the new Kate Hudson movie.

Why? Well, besides the obvious stigma of being seen watching a "chick flick," most guys I've dated have had an issue with the way romantic comedies are set up. And we have to admit it ladies, they can get a little... well... predictable.

But even in the most predictable flicks, there are occasionally moments that are just too funny, too original, and too great for even the manliest man to hate. Here, in my experience with guys, are 3 of those moments....

    3. When Harry Met Sally, Sally Fakes an Orgasm

Besides the obvious male pleasure of watching Meg Ryan moan herself into fake orgasm bliss, you have to admit it: this scene gets your attention. You can't help but crack a smile watching Sally put Harry in his place here. This is personally one of my favorite films, and I've made many a boy sit through it. Without a doubt, each and every one has enjoyed this scene the most.

    2. The Sweetest Thing, The Penis Song

The truth is, there are probably very few guys excited to watch this movie. And honestly, if you promise him that there's this really great part where the girls break into song, he most likely won't warm up too much more. And I'll even go so far as to say he won't want you to know how much he actually likes this part of the movie. But trust me, not only does he like it, he will be humming along and laughing secretly long after it's over. Come on, it's adorable.

    1. Mean Girls, ...Pretty Much Any Scene

Any guy with a sense of humor that told you he did not find ONE scene of this movie funny is absolutely lying to you. Crammed in with some of SNL's most recent funny people (particularly Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Tim Meadows), this movie packs witty hilarity into what would normally be a very girl-specific topic. And it doesn't hurt that this movie is the pinnacle of Lindsay Lohan hotness. I'm comfortable enough as a straight girl to say it... she looks hot.

What girly movies do your guys secretly (or not so secretly) love?
