RE: Dear Future Boyfriend
I had read a blog about writing letters to out future boyfriends....here is mine.
Dear future boyfriend,
I have been waiting a long time for you, and I have spent many nights looking out my window wondering when you would get here. Many poems have been written, pleading for you to save my lonely little heart. I haven't had many successful relationships in the past, so please be patient with me if I seem a little shy for a while. I promise that will change with time.
My darling, I promise to you that I will be forever faithful and I would think that you are too. I will be your shoulder to cry on. It does not make you any less of a man if you shed a tear in front of me. It just means that you are open to sharing all of your worries with me. I will do my best to help you in any way possible. Even if I cannot give advice to my best abilities, I will always be here to listen to you. I know sometimes we might argue, but I think thats healthy. We will get through any problems that we are having.
I do understand that you need your time with your friends, or time to be alone. I also need time with mine, but wouldn't it be wonderful if we all got together sometime? Lets play twister, or monopoly! As you can tell, I'm not one for partying. I would like it very much if you were the same way. I also understand that you have to work, or go to school a lot, and I'll have to do the same. I'll send you cute text messages to make you smile, because thats one of my favorite things about you. I think communication is key part of a relationship, and even if I don't get to see you as often as I would like to, I still would need a message at the end of they day. I promise to do the same for you.
Lets fill my camera with silly, wonderful pictures. If for some reason we are far apart from each other, we could be silly over webcam too! To me, love knows no boundaries. We can make it work if we try.
I don't like to go too fast physically, so please don't rush me into sex. If you are the kind of guy that wants to wait for sex until you are married, I am more than willing to wait for you. Sex is not the most important thing in this whole wide world, so don't fret if that is your case.
I can't wait to meet you,
Trisha.

hope you find him soon
That was really cute i love it
Whoever he will be, he's lucky. you sound like you'd treat a guy right. I'd probably just go to shows with him, and try not to get too attached.
My future bf letter would probably sound like,"Hey dude.I've been hoping to find somebody like you. You know, that person to chill with and laugh with, the guy you wouldn't take home to mom, but instead, make like a blanket fort or something, pretend we're on a rocket ship. Let's go see a show, check out the pit, then go home and laugh over nothing. Yeah. That's what we should do.
From, Dani"
dear future bf,
let's run to the wilderness, climb a tree and makeout in a treehouse, then play the go fish card game, and whoever loses must give a piggyback ride to the winner all the way home
I'm going to win of course

Lovely! I hope you'll find him soon.
@P0RCELA1N_D0LL@xanga - Lol! Just great.
cool
aww super cute!
I think I should write one as well ><"" and it very cute ~
I'm not sure cute is the word I'd use. It's sort of like forward reminiscing. I think I'll go with hopefully affectionate.
I wish you luck.
I'm glad someone finally wrote one! See it does show what you want/expect in a relationship!
Awww, that's awesome :)
@summerdreams505Aa@xanga - I totally agree!! Its like my guideline now and I'm not accepting any less than what I wrote. Thank for for inspiring me to write one.
@UnconventionalButterfly@xanga - Yup, I've learned that. I wrote three letters. My first one mostly reflected my desire for an adult/sorta romantic relationship, therefore, my 2nd one evovled into a more realistic version, and the third one was about how I would uphold my end of the contract, because I felt selfish putting all the blame on the guy. I guess whenever a new guy comes along look back on the letter and maybe show him it or check of if he shows it
@summerdreams505Aa@xanga - :) I'll probably write another one focusing more on morals, ect ect. Again, thank you for this inspiration. It has really helped me learn about myself as well.
@UnconventionalButterfly@xanga - Glad I helped!
aww :o)
dear future boyfriend,
please bake me a cupcake
