A Letter To My Next-Next Boyfriend
Dear Next-Next boyfriend,
I don't know how we will meet or when. I don't know when you will ask me out. All I know is that I want to make this relationship work whenever it shall happen.
First and most importantly, I would like to tell you that I am a shy person. Now, yo u may see me act a different way with my friends, but that is a whole different story. I'm shy at first, but if you're patient and let me open up, you'll see the side my friends see, maybe even more. Which brings me to the fact that I don't ask you to make me a better person, but you can help me be a better person.
Second, communication: I understand your busy schedule, but if you find a minute to text me here and there, I would most certainly appreciate it. I would really, really love it if you call me before you go to sleep. I would love to know that I am probably the last voice you hear for the night. And I would really love it if you sent me a good morning text. I don't care how early in the morning it is, I would still love it. Nothing would make me happier then to wake up and see a text, and if I still want to sleep go back to sleep smiling.
As much as I would love to see you, I know we have busy schedules, so I will be fine seeing you once a week, but if you're free, why not more? It would make me happy. But there will be days when I would want to hang out with my friends, and I'm sure you would like a Boys' Night Out. Just text or call me when you get home, and I shall do the same.
Most importantly, treat me right. Don't use me for sex or play with my emotions. If you never play me and treat me right, then you will see the kind of girl I am. I try to be a good and caring girlfriend. I understand a lot of things, mostly because I've been through a lot and well, understanding is part of my nature. I am not a gold-digger, spoiled princess, or sex toy, and I will treat you right.
