My ex was queergendered.
Sometimes she felt feminine.
Sometimes she felt masculine.
Sometimes she felt neither.
That's the same as bi-gendered, right?
Somehow, I always understood.

Who's to say what girly or manly behavior is, anyway? Some may think it's not manly to cry, others may not agree. Some may say it's girly to groom for over an hour, but I know plenty of guys who take just as long as I do to get ready; sometimes even longer.

A pox on gender roles altogether! Nobody SOLELY exhibits their sex's given roles every single day of their lives. If that were the case, then we'd all be "bi-gendered." I think this mindset needs to be done away with.

huh I never thought of it that way.

I identify as transgender, male only to the extent that I want to live in society in a male body.  (At least, this is how I feel right now; I realize this could change.)  I identify as FTM only as a description of my narrative- that I lived nineteen years as female and have now lived two as male and will continue to live as male; and as a perhaps eventual description of my sex, which will move from female to male more and more the longer I am on T (if I take T).  I do not gender any of my desires, wants, or behaviors.  I think our concepts of "masculinity" and "femininity" are outdated.  Male and masculine, female and feminine are unnecessary pairings - they do not need to go together.  Every day I present the same way, with the same outward presentation, but change my mannerisms, speech patterns, behaviors.... This is the product of being a social being, not a trans person; we all do it.  I identify as gender fluid within the trans umbrella, but not bi-gender.  There is no binary, just wonderfully beautiful, variant ways to experience our bodies and our world. :)

I think that someone I know could be bi-gendered. They're female, but sometimes feel as though they should be male, yet also feels female. She's a tomboy. She's unsure of her sexuality as well, because she has liked boys in the past, but also likes girls. It must be very confusing :(. I still love her no matter who she is or decides to be.
