Boyfriend of the Day: Russell Brand
I know, I know, you're probably thinking, why is that scraggy strange British dude boyfriend of the day?Well, I assure you he deserves it-- he was arrested defending his lady love.
Get a load of this: some asshat photog tried to take pictures up Katy Perry's skirt so Brand did did what any good boyfriend would do and stopped the guy by pushing him. Then the asshole photographer put him under citizens arrest.
The police took him in, charged him with simple assault, and held him until he was released on $20,000 bond.
Apparently the UK doesn't have a law against "upskirting". You might want to get on that, friends.
I know some people have expressed intense dislike for Brand, or simply think he is not funny. I don't have a problem with him and find him pretty amusing, so I'm glad to hear more good things about him. It looks like you snagged a good one, Perry!What say you? Do you think any better of Brand now?

Nothing about him ever bothered me. So, he's a little different, talks with an accent and has maybe had a sex addiction in the past but it seems as if he's changed and changed for the better. Good for him!

Somehow I feel like that can't be the whole story; otherwise, he'd probably have his story heard out (he's a celebrity, after all).
While reading his autobiography, I frequently found him a little pathetic, but he's hysterical and a total fox, so what can you do?!
I still like Russell Brand. Sure he's a little crazy but arent we all? Thats good he was standing up for hsis girlfriend. I still think theyre kinda weird together, though. But as long as theyre happy.

He went to rehab in the town I grew up in :) He's a genuinely nice, good guy. Sure, he's had his problems but he's a nice person. Good for him!
