  • More Engagement Shoots Inspired by Movies= More Awesomeness

I knew there was a reason I continue to look for ideas on Shine. Because this is awesome.

Here is a collection of engagement shoots inspired by movies. I'm totally geeking out-- I don't plan on getting married for a very long time, but holy crap do I want to be in one of these shoots right now. Another cool thing? Not all of these movies are romantic at the core. I'd love my wedding pictures to be inspired by Pride and Prejudice or Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. And, much less practically, Pocahontas or Beauty and the Beast. A girl can dream, no?

Atonement. I adore adore adore the vintage clothing and that second pic is just stunning.

Up. This shoot is an internet sensation for very good reason. So, so well thought out to the last detail, they seem effortless, and all the pics are so high quality. Can you believe they are getting three different installments, too? Dedication and a lot of money-- but these are so good, I'm sure it was worth it.

Breakfast At Tiffany's. Very pretty-- she has an awesome wardrobe. And I love the citrus color scheme of the first one.

The Notebook. Romantic. Fun. Awesome. More props for styling. The guy is way into it, too. And she looks so much like Rachel McAdams in some of these. Oh The Notebook, swooon.

Alice In Wonderland. Super kudos for taking a blah and unhappy movie (sorry, Tim Burton enthusiasts) and making an awesome and optimistic shoot.

What do you think about these type of shoots-- cool or lame? Which set was your favorite? Is there a movie that you would like to recreate?
