Uncircumcised Penises- Extra Skin or Normal?

Uncircumcised penises get a pretty bad reputation. If you think about it though, circumcision was originally based on religious ideals. Although, now the reason for circumcision is mostly because of hygiene. But in my opinion, if we are able to learn how to use the bathroom, I'm pretty sure cleaning a penis doesn't require rocket science. Most of the world, besides America, deals with the extra skin. It's the 21st century and yet we have continued this unnecessary tradition. So what does it look like exactly? Well, think of the penis as little red riding hood. Others like to refer to it as a turtleneck. It's essentially just an extra layer of skin. But the question is: is it really "extra" or just natural?
PROS:
Some say that the orgasm can be more intense for both the guy and the girl. This is because the skin tends to move up and down a.k.a. EXTRA arousal.
CONS:
Guys with that extra skin don't like to wear condoms. It's kind of like if you're already wearing a heavy sweater and you put a tight-fitting jacket on top of that. Let's just say it can be suffocating.
There can also be some issues with hygiene if you don't clean it on a regular basis, which can be the deal-breaker for these hooded penises. I knew a girl who was dating a hot tamale but he was uncircumcised. She eventually had to stop seeing him because the stench of his penis was nauseating. You see, if you don't clean it, bacteria starts to build up. Need I say more? But this is a rare case, unless of course the guy doesn't care about getting blowjobs.
So for those of you who have uncircumcised penises or have had sex with one, what are your thoughts? Should everyone just stop chopping off their foreskin like it's going out of style?

I've only had one uncircumsized and well, to be honest, there isn't much of a difference as far as feeling and what not goes - once its hard you don't even notice.
As far as dick cheese, if homeboy doesn't shower that stuff gets cruddy, easily. So, unless he's a once-a-day shower-er, then I ain't having that shit ever again.
Jussayin'I've slept with uncircumcised guys. It feels exactly the same to me but I just can't look at them. Sorry, I think they look gross. And clean or not, I can't stomach giving one a blowjob. Who knows what kind of bacteria and smegma is under there. And the idea of me playing with it with my tongue and then having it get in my mouth!
*wants to barf*I'm glad I'm circumcised. Over the course of a lifetime those extra 5 seconds of cleaning would really add up.
No matter how many hippies try to convert me, I will not touch a "natural" peen. Sorry. Don't care. Not gonna happen.
I prefer cut guys, because they look nicer and tend to be cleaner in my opinion.
Uncut can be fine, as long as they do keep it clean. As for condoms, uncut is hard to keep a condom on.
I've been with both, and honestly it doesn't matter either way. Even if I did, I would suck it up and not say a word- I don't need to make my man feel uncomfortable for a decision his parents made when he was born. It really is just a little bit of extra skin. No big deal.
If it wasn't ment to be there--it wouldn't be.
I have no problem with uncircumcised.
It's totally normal -- actually when you think about it, cutting on the genitals is rather cruel -- and as you say, if he has good hygiene it doesn't really matter.
I've never seen one without skin, so, to me skin is normal.
Love this topic! Some really funny comments.
I have to go with cut. The reason I say this is sometimes when a man is uncircumcised he has to become circumcised later in adult life and I've heard horror stories of penis's so swollen from the surgery that it is down to the dudes knee. Sounds like a fantasy to some but, imagine the pain for an older man. Just cut them when they are young, keep it clean at all times and get head at the drop of a hat!
@xraindropsonroses@xanga - In the age of the internet, I don't believe that.
didn't someone already post something similar up already? =_=;;
Hmm... anybody from the rest of the world have an opinion on this? Obviously most Americans are gonna cringe at an uncircumcised penis because they're not used to it.
Actually, it IS going out of style. Only 33% of boys born in the United States in 2009 were circumcised, and outside of the United States, circumcision for non-religious purposes is virtually unheard of. 80%+ of the world's men are intact.
Circumcision is listed as a cosmetic procedure, and really confers no real medical benefits at all. All of the so-called "problems" circumcision prevents can easily be treated with more conservative means. Less than 1/6 of 1% of men will ever require a circumcision in their lifetimes, however, American doctors are very cut-happy and often use circumcision as a first treatment rather than a last resort as it should be.
Here are some foreskin facts:
*The foreskin contains about 20,000 sensitive nerve endings. Compare that to 4,000 in the glans (head). As such, intact men are about four times more sensitive than men that have been victim to MGM.
*The five most sensitive parts of a man's penis are on his foreskin. Ironically, the most sensitive part of a circumcised man's penis is the circumcision scar.
*The foreskin acts as a natural lubricant during sex and makes penetration less painful and much easier. Women are many times more likely to experience orgasm with an intact man, and that extra girth provides cushion against the vaginal wall, preventing scraping from the hook-shaped corona glandis, the pink ring behind the head.
*The foreskin protects the glans and keeps it moist, sensitive and supple. The glans is a circumcised man is dull, gray, and calloused.
As far as some other random facts: circumcision has been shown to cause psychological damage, both in infancy and adulthood. Many circumcised men are driven into deep depression over their circumcised status and some even have flashbacks during sexual acts. Circumcision also appears to decrease pain tolerance and can potentially interrupt normal breastfeeding patterns. About 150-250 infants die each year from complications due to circumcision.
One last little tidbit: hundreds of thousands of men have taken to foreskin restoration to undo the damage done to them by circumcision. Unfortunately it's not 100% reversible, and you can only get some of your sensitivity back, but it's a dramatic improvement over being circumcised an unrestored. I myself have done so, and the improvement is absolutely nothing short of remarkable.
Thank you for taking the time to read, and please, any further questions, feel free to ask.
It's absolutely normal and natural.
And furthermore, you're completely wrong about uncircumcised men not liking to wear condoms. They don't like to wear them any more or less than circumcised men do, so it's not something worth mentioning. My boyfriend, uncircumcised, certainly wears them whenever he should.
Uncircumcised >>>>>> circumcised. Seriously, a guy who showers twice a week will not have a stinky foreskin. And that foreskin is awesome. And uh, any guy can and will wear a condom, and ones who won't you shouldn't have sex with anyway. Anyway, uncircumcised penises stay lube-y better, are more sensitive at the head, feel sooo much better (as the girl/recipient) and just LOOK better. Don't have that weird scar band thing and don't look so...naked all the time. Uncircumcised is the way to go. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
Signed, the ridiculously satisfied wife of an uncircumcised man.
Does it really matter? A penis is a penis after all...
Wow, your friend is very shallow. I must say that. What a shame. I don't wish her any happiness. If your friend and anyone is considered about men's penis smelling..then ask him to shower regularly. And if he likes you well enough, he will do it. I'm afraid they can't smell themselves.
Who really cares about it? It shouldn't be a factor if you like someone..you should like them for who they are not for their penis..and if you are..then you're quite shallow yourself and don't deserve anyone. Period.
I'm glad to be well informed. It's a shame so many women are that shallow to go as far as judging a man by his penis.
I don't know how anyone could say that a scarred, malformed, discolored penis is attractive by any means. I'd rather have relations with an intact man who hasn't been mutilated. However, I'm not going to tear apart my partner for being circumcised.  It wasn't his choice, he was mutilated against his will at birth.
"Without the foreskin’s protection, the glans becomes keratinized
(calloused). The free nerve endings in the glans become buried in
layers of callused skin. Many circumcised males complain about sexual
dysfunction and impotence because they lack the feelings and feedback
meant to be provided by nerve endings that were amputated with
circumcision. Circumcised men are 4.5 times more likely to be diagnosed
with erectile dysfunction than intact men."

I find the above quote very true. I have had sex with several intact men and they have always been more sensual, took their time and sex was more intimate. Not only were the not missing part of their penis(which means yes, they had bigger penises in comparison to cut men), they could control themselves better. I've never had sex with an intact guy who had premature ejaculation or erectile dysfunction. I have had my fair share of circ'd guys that have though.
Any informed person on the subject of foreskin and circumcision knows that no medical or health organization in the world recommends circumcision. It's considered a cosmetic procedure with no medical benefits, which is why 16+ states no longer cover the surgery under medicaid.
I think many of the previous posters on this page need to do some research.
I believe every person deserves a choice in the matter regarding their body. Everyone deserves a right to bodily integrity. If an adult chooses to chop their foreskin off later in life- that's great....Just stop doing to non-consenting children. Anyone that chooses circumcision for their children are doing so for their preferences, not the benefit of the child. If people gave two shits about what their children might want as they get older, they'd leave them be to make their own decision.
To me, it doesn't matter. But I do enjoy the occasional fun with the turtleneck :D
My first sexual experiences ever were with an uncircumsized penis. I dont really mind them one way or the other but I will say this, I didnt experience a more intense orgasm, it is easier to give head to a circumsized penis, and he had the same stench problem you mentioned above.
I <333333 uncircumcised dicks. Not that I don't like circumcised, because I do, but uncircumcised is definitely my preference. I don't know why so many women start bawwwwwwing over uncircumcised dicks. Grow the fuck up.
lol a penis should have foreskin.
I prefer uncircumcised penises. They are more natural and normal looking to me. I'm not going to circumcise my son. If he wants it done, then he can have it when he's old enough. I'm not going to force it on him.
When my friends ask about it, I tell them it's like a turtleneck! Haha, anyways, my man stays super clean so I think it's great.
I only enjoy my boyfriends haha I really don't care what anyone else's dick looks like.
