Your Not So Secret Sex Life: Do You Kiss & Tell?
I lay curled up in white linen sheets. Underneath, I was completely naked. I reached over my hook-up buddy to the nightstand where my cell phone was neatly placed sometime during the prior drunken evening.
I picked up my cell phone and immediately texted my bestie. "We have to talk later" read my text, alerting her that I needed her to pick up as soon as I called. "Okay. Call me ASAP!" was her reply text.
After my company left, I immediately phoned my friend. "I went on drinking last night and to make a long story short...I'm not at my apartment" I mumble into the phone. "Tell me everything..." she encourages me.
Does the above scenario sound familiar? Honestly, how many of you kiss and tell? Privacy seems to be a novel idea of days gone by. After a little cuddling and good night kiss, do you give your friends a play by play of the evening?
In high school, I had a friend who did this religiously. Whenever she hooked up with someone, I knew all about it. It would've been no different if I was a fly on the wall. She wasn't embarrassed to share a detailed narrative of her sexual escapades - and I didn't mind hearing them, either.
Honestly, I've kissed and told before. Sometimes, it's almost like you just can't keep it to yourself. After college, though, I've assumed a little bit of dignity for myself and respect for my partner. I'm left wondering who has kissed me and told about it?
Now, I hear less and less about my friends' intimate sexcapades. I think it's a mixture of us all maturing and getting beyond the giddy: "Guess what I did last night?!?" phase. After all, no one's looking to score cool points for doing the deed after age 21, right? I hope I'm right.
So, do you still kiss and tell? Have you ever kissed and told? How would you feel if you lover's friends new every single detail about your sex life?

I only talk about it if the partner was worth the mention. Which is rare. By rare I mean never.
@SodomyClown@xanga - < This. Also, I usually need advice because its never usually just a hook-up.
I do and on quite a large scale since I keep a blog about it, but I do try to respect the privacy of the people involved by not using their names. Check it out for yourself: www.eva-thefallofmen.blogspot.com
Of course I talk about it with my best friend. I tell two of my best friends, and that's because I trust them. No words will be repeated between the 3 of us! I talk about details too! it's fun to talk about sex!
Aside from those 2, I do NOT tell anyone, but I noticed that guys actually kiss and tell more than girls do!
Well, a couple of hours before I had sex for the first time, my one guy friend told me that it was going to happen that night. I didn't believe him, so when it did happen, he was the first person I told-- while the guy was washing up in the bathroom! But yeah that was pretty much the only big instance I can think of.
I don't do the whole kiss and tell thing.
I don't kiss and tell.
It's not that the experience is not worth telling, it's that none of my "friends" are worth telling to. I used to with my ex, and that got everywhere. The people I know like to talk but it's not unexpected because it IS high school.
*sigh*
Yes.
Only when the right people ask and usually, they don't so no. I only tell vague details like location and whether it was good or bad.
I kiss and tell!
I only tell my best friend hilarious sexual encounters I have with my SO. Sometimes we exchange sex stories or habits our SO's have, but never raunchy details. There's no need, ha.
This might not have been completely on topic...
i usually tell a person, than my loud mouth friends tell the city. yeah thanks guys
When I first started dating my fiance, I would tell my friends about every little kiss or hand hold and what not..Just the cutesy stuff, ya know? But that's it. Once you're in a serious relationship I think there are definitely things that are meant to stay private and kept between the two people in the relationship.
I dont kiss & tell but I listen to my friend tell~
I kissed and tell because 1) I had a pregnancy scared and 2) Someone was already suspecting that I was sleeping with him so I confirmed. But usually, I don't tell all.
I know I would tell my best friend.
i don't kiss and tell about sex, just only how he kisses me or how he touches me but never about sex to my gf.
nahh, i rarely tell people my business. i think that when i changed my relationship on facebook, everyone back home, including my best friends, where liiike, wtf? when. haha. i mean only like two people know i'm not a virgin anymore, and that's only cause they asked like a few months after it happened. haha.
I've never told, never! I don't have many girlfriends and I figure what I do is MY business and mine alone. I don't really care/can't do much if someone else tells, but I refuse to.
My best friend tells me every single little detail about her sex life.. So I know she does!
I kiss and tell... :/
The more details you hear, the more likely that it's all lies. Guys especially do that, but girls do, too, and I bet your friend did.
I hardly ever kiss and tell, unless it's with someone who i think might me more then just 'fun', having it being your dirty little secret is all the more exciting!
Lol. I think it depends on the relationship. Some lovers are really cool with casual conversation but not details, some lovers prefer their love lives to remain private.
Me? I like to talk, and learn...about everything. But I respect whoever I'm with too much to spill every bean, especially without having previously talked with them about their comfort level.
