July is almost over, which means grueling August heat is just around the corner. Take the time to picnic with your SO while you still can without melting like the wicked witch of the west. Before you pack up your baguette and slip the chocolate covered strawberries in the fridge, make sure you've got the picnic essentials on hand. Not sure what they are? Take a look...
Why pack a romantic lunch in a grocery sack or beach bag? Take it from the chefs (at Chef's catalog) and make your presentation as beautiful as your scenery. (

The perfect sundress is hard to comes by, but the perfect date sundress is even more rare. It has to be flirty and fun, yet sexy with a "come hither" silhouette. Look for a low-cut, empire waist that will show off the ladies while cinching you at your most narrow point. It looks great and leaves plenty of room for eating! (

When the wind kicks in, your hair could go up in a typical ponytail
or you could rock a stylish sun hat. You'll look so Holly Golightly in a wide-brimmed stunner. (

A tan says Brazilian goddess, while a burn says dorky lobster. Avoid becoming the latter with a sunscreen that dries quickly and won't sweat off. (

I can avoid all that and just enjoy lunch with my husband in my pjs in our small and cozy air conditioned apt.
That's one expensive basket.
because id totally want to wear white, let alone a dress, when im going to be sitting on the ground.
though i would love a cute picnic basket
i do love the dress.. although i would probably never wear it, especially on a picnic.
i think i'll stick my grocery bags full of chips, hot dogs, and a 6 pack, dressed in my bikini ready to go swimmin in the river! it costs a lot less and it sounds a lot more fun (and cool!)
I love picnic in the park. But here are some other dating ideas for the summer that won't break the budget. http://bit.ly/aRIpa7
Lol what a chic picnic. It really doesn't have to be expensive. You can actually find cheap baskets from a craft store.
I just took my boyfriend on a picnik for his birthday. He loved it. He said it was great and he took me out for ice cream after we went to the movies. It was so great and so romantic.
