Full disclosure: I was going to write a post about drunk sex.
And, for whatever reason, I decided to find an image before writing said article.
At first I typed in "drunk sex." Not terribly effective, so I typed in "drunk kissing." Lo and behold,
out of the 20 images on the first page of results, only 5 included men in the pictures and only 1 actually showed a girl and boy clearly kissing. What. The. Fuck.
Maybe I'm crazy, but I was surprised. Was I wrong to assume "drunk kissing" would yield more boy-girl action? I don't think so, considering when you type in "drunk sex" (or just "sex") most results are straight.
So why do these results pop up? Unfortunately, I have the feeling it has to do with a certain male fantasy.
It would be fine if these girls were lesbians or bisexual (or if there were some gay pictures). But my guess is this isn't about sexual choice equality, there wasn't any gay kissing featured.
It would be fine if these girls straight were experimenting with their sexuality (under the influence or not) because lots of people are curious during this time in their lives-- by all means, explore!
But I'm fairly certain they just got drunk and started making out to term on a bunch of horny frat bros-- why else would a camera be necessary and why else would these end up on the web? Whatever the case, these are my suggestions to you, girls who show up on the biggest search engine in the world:
- Don't take pictures of you engaging in drunk behaviors and don't let others take pictures of you being a drunk.
- Get frisky behind closed doors. Or under a sheet. Or in the dark. Whatever.
Also, those people who are taking these pictures or putting them online? Not blameless. You aren't thinking this through-- not cool, just stupid. Don't be an asshole and put potentially embarrassing pictures online where future employers could find them.
Finally, while we are on the subject of embarrassing pictures that shouldn't show up online, I just want to make it clear this principle extends to straight couples too. Don't put pictures of you drunk or drunk sexing on line. No one wants to see that in person, let alone on line (well, unless you are me looking for a hilarious picture to attract hits).
Is anyone else annoyed by the search results or this type of behavior?

Ahah it's because a lot of girls kiss each other while drunk, either for attention, experimentation, or that fact that they want to see if they're bi.
I think they do it for attention. One of my best friends kissed a girl while she was drunk once. She said she was just so drunk and didn't know what she was doing. I don't care how drunk I am, I wouldn't kiss a girl or boy (other than my boyfriend) for that matter. She also mentioned that, "it's what the guys wanted.." I about slapped her when she said that.
I wouldn't do it for attention at all but because I'm curious. But you have to admit, drunk pictures are funny.
I think posting pictures of your sex on the internet life is pretty stupid. Everyone will see them.
I've been drunk off my ass twice and both times, I was pretty friendly if you know what I mean. =] I'm not gay and I'm no slut, though. I wasn't dancing like a skank, and I didn't hook up with anyone. I was just really chill and mellow and it seemed about the right time to make out. I'm not going to say that every girl you found on Google was only kissing another girl because she just feels more friendly and intimate with a drink in hand, but you can't jump to conclusions and assume that they were posing for a bunch of frat boys or were just trying to get attention. You can't prove that they even realized they had a camera on them, or even cared for that matter. Some people like bringing a camera everywhere (like myself) so they may have just been taking snapshots of the night and ended up with some drunken makeout sessions on their camera. The real problem to me is that people don't have the decency to just laugh and erase the pics, or if they have to post them, cover their faces. I'll personally admit that I've drunkenly made out with a girl before, but I wouldn't want everyone to find out through someone else, or worse, through pictures posted online.
It's overrated and all male propaganda of some strange sexual desire. I don't understand. It's stupid.
Just tried it out. You're right.
I'm a little teary eyed right now.
Good work Google.
it's all for attention that's all. i've never done it and probably will never do it. i'm not into that stuff.
Ahahaa, I hate kissing pictures, especially drunk ones, girl-on-girl or not.
wat guy doesnt like girl on girl action but seriously u just googled it and saw a pic of like 5 kiss marks on a toliet that is quite disgusting
I HATE Facebook photos after the weekend. Everybody's photo album features the imfamous red cups and several girls with barely any clothes on. I don't condone doing anything with anyone drunk, doesn't matter their gender or if pictures are taken.
@xjadersx@xanga - Agreed.
Yea. Drunk girls almost always kiss other girls for fun.
when i'm drunk and i kiss another girl, it's because i want to. not for any other reason there may be.
It's hard to say by just looking at a photo if the girls are, in fact, kissing for attention or kissing because they want to. In addition, these girls in said photographs could be lesbians. They come in all shapes and sizes, you know. They don't have to have short hair and dress like boys.
Granted, I do get really annoyed with people like Katy Perry who kissed a girl and liked it when they actually are straight. It just toys with the gay girls head. Not nice. Not nice at all.
"started making out to term on a bunch of horny frat bros-"
" to term on a bunch of horny frat bros-"
"term on"
lolll.
I hate skanky straight girls who make out for male attention.
@TheGrandGalacticInquisitor@xanga - I saw that too.
It's not fair to judge a person by what they do when they're intoxicated.
I would never do that- girls have cooties.
Dude, I still haven't kissed a chick and I REALLY WANT TO... damn.
@psychopathic_ambition@xanga - I don't know. You can learn a lot about someone by the way they act when a couple of drinks toss their inhibitions aside--see: Mel Gibson.
@ElusiveSoul@xanga - lmao about mel gibson.
I am VERY annoyed by this behavior.
it is annoying! i think its fine kissing girls... whatever, but if there is a camera they're probably doing it for attention. lame!
