  • Googling "Drunk Kissing" Almost Exclusively Yields Pics of Girl-On-Girl Action

Full disclosure: I was going to write a post about drunk sex.

And, for whatever reason, I decided to find an image before writing said article.

At first I typed in "drunk sex." Not terribly effective, so I typed in "drunk kissing." Lo and behold, out of the 20 images on the first page of results, only 5 included men in the pictures and only 1 actually showed a girl and boy clearly kissing.

    What. The. Fuck.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I was surprised. Was I wrong to assume "drunk kissing" would yield more boy-girl action? I don't think so, considering when you type in "drunk sex" (or just "sex") most results are straight.

So why do these results pop up? Unfortunately, I have the feeling it has to do with a certain male fantasy.

It would be fine if these girls were lesbians or bisexual (or if there were some gay pictures). But my guess is this isn't about sexual choice equality, there wasn't any gay kissing featured.

It would be fine if these girls straight were experimenting with their sexuality (under the influence or not) because lots of people are curious during this time in their lives-- by all means, explore!

But I'm fairly certain they just got drunk and started making out to term on a bunch of horny frat bros-- why else would a camera be necessary and why else would these end up on the web?

Whatever the case, these are my suggestions to you, girls who show up on the biggest search engine in the world:
    1. Don't take pictures of you engaging in drunk behaviors and don't let others take pictures of you being a drunk.
    2. Get frisky behind closed doors. Or under a sheet. Or in the dark. Whatever.
Also, those people who are taking these pictures or putting them online? Not blameless. You aren't thinking this through-- not cool, just stupid. Don't be an asshole and put potentially embarrassing pictures online where future employers could find them.

Finally, while we are on the subject of embarrassing pictures that shouldn't show up online, I just want to make it clear this principle extends to straight couples too. Don't put pictures of you drunk or drunk sexing on line. No one wants to see that in person, let alone on line (well, unless you are me looking for a hilarious picture to attract hits).

Is anyone else annoyed by the search results or this type of behavior?
