Sweating? Still want to see your sweetheart? Cool off with these 6 summer date ideas for those days when it's so hot you could <insert weather cliche here>.
1. Wash your car together. If your man is way into cars, and you're way into having a clean one, spend an afternoon sudsing up your Toyota together. Wear your bathing suits for both flirting and functionality, and be sure to tell him he's an expert at getting the grime off your wheels.
2. Picnic in the park. Score a patch of shade and tote along some farmer's market salads and a blanket, and maybe even a clandestine thermos of wine. Bonus: cuddling in public is OK on a park picnic. Everyone's doing it.
3. Go see a movie. Yeah, it's about an original as vanilla ice cream, but sitting in the A.C. for a couple hours, munching popcorn and smooching like you're in high school can be super fun in the middle of balmy July.
4. See some live music outside. Air-conditioned concert halls get hot as blazes anyway where they're packed, so skip the stadium and take in an outdoor show. There's nothing quite like sipping a cold beer while awesome music AND summer breezes float your way. Bonus: a lot of outdoor shows are FREE!
5. Hit up an amusement park. Roller coasters, ferris wheels, cotton candy, lemonade, arcade games, gigantic stuffed animals...what's not to have summer fun with?
6. Go out for ice cream. Need something quick and cheap? (tee hee) Head to Coldstone, TCBY or your local ice cream shop for two scoops and some handholding.

yeah.. some of these are things you wouldn't want to do if it really was ridiculously hot out.

The car wash idea I would really like since I'm really into cars, but then I get really picky about washing my car =X haha, but I would like it if a girl tries that with me lmao! But! It's quite hard to find a girl that's willing to do some of the things on this list if it's extremely hot. I'm down for anything but it's also up to the other party eh?

with the first idea, you could plan a water fight, bucket of water, balloons, the hose... LOL =D it'll be nice to see if your significant other has a sense of humour. of course, make sure the wallet and cellphone and the keys are meters away from the target.
picnic sounds nice in theory, but I just went on a picnic in 90 degree summer heat + humidity and let me tell you there was nothing romantic about sweating my ass off and getting attacked by mosquitos

How about just skipping the game and getting straight to the sex. Save time/money and will be able to procreate more efficiently. These dates seem really boring.

Amusement parks are the best date idea when it's hot. Scary roller coasters and those rides that have really tiny cars. You have to get close! = D

what if you don't own a car, allergic to grass, she's scared of the dark, the only live music there is near by are crickets, both get motion sick and I'm lactose intolerant?! LOL
@XoAsianBabioX@xanga - well....what's your date going to ask you to do then if it's hot and you don't want to go out, right? If you like the guy or whatever, you'd go do it even if it's hot. Can't go shopping or stay indoors all the time. Most of the stuff that's "fun" are outdoors during the summer.
Then winter comes and lol no one wants to go out then neither but stay inside and be warm. So yea....
