Just A Quickie: What Initially Attracts You?
... And I'm not talkin' looks, here.
For me, a guy who has what I would consider good taste in music (think Passion Pit, Bassnectar, Rogue Wave, Phoenix...I could go on) is already scoring major points. A lot of the guys I've gone after and dated have shared similar musical interests as me, and during the "courting process," having that in common is a major turn on.
What about you? What characteristics/interests initially attract you to another person?

When a girl is confident in who she is. Not just a confident attitude, but confident in her quirks and not afraid to show her unique personality.
That has always drawn me to people.

a fun attitude and (slightly weird) sense of humor. also, literary knowledge gets me hot and bothered.
I like funny guys, people who aren't afraid to laugh and don't take themselves too seriously. I hate judgements, any guy who is pretentious or close minded is out the door. I like confidence but not eragance. I like a guy who is outgoing and not afraid to put himself out there even if he looks dumb. I like guys who is attracted to my quirky traits, not just my face. And a major plus is if the guy can sing.
The ability to not make me run away; no joke. Ever since an incident in elementary school, I've been hesitant befriending guys.....
If one of them talks to me, I'll either be really awkward about it or look away.
I go for intelligent, well-read men who also have a sense of humor. Seriously, ANY sense of humor. They can't be a stick in the mud just because they're smart.
A guy who is sarcastic in a fun and not douchebaggy way, who can argue without raising his voice- and wittiness.
Good looks and a sense of humor.
Cockiness/Overt confidence, if he's got the goods to back it up.

An English accent.
Someone who makes me feel comfortable and makes me laugh!
Someone who isn't the center of attention, who smiles a lot.
Off to the side. Someone everyone overlooks.
exciting, sexy, mysterious... someone low key that you know has a lot going on.... also passionate, romantic, loving:)) and open minded, intelligent, has the same spiritual beliefs as me and like minded. raw and is moving forward in life, has life goals, and using their talents to make the world a better place- successful. (the success isnt necessary, but usually it just happens naturally since their passionate about what they do. but i don't care how much they make, i care about what they do. thats the true success) also someone dedicated and stable.... i want them to be fun and spontaneous.. but they also need to make a great dad and be able to be there for his cute wife and children:)) they gotta love the outdoors and love to travel and camping as well:) and have an appreciation for nature and treat everyone around us well.
Their style and taste in music
it could be anything, really, as long as there's something. i have a variety of different interests, so as long as they share at least one, there's solid grounds for building a relationship. if we share multiple ones [think sense of humor, taste in music, attitude about life, easygoingness, interest in writing, drinking], it looks pretty promising.
Guys who read
Guys who make me laughintelligence and humor.
smell :)
someone who's smart, ambitious, motivated. not a lazy slob.
Boys who actually read (good) books for fun. Oh, yes.
