A lot of the posts I've written that pertain to my relationship with my SO deal with (generally) minor issues we've faced in our relationship. But just for a second, I'd like to take a break from any skepticism, insecurity, or doubts I may have about my SO.
Because really, he is wonderful.
For the purpose of this post, I'd like to take a moment or two to briefly rant about two traits I love about my SO, one physical and one characteristic. If you're reading this, take a second to think about your current SO, or a past relationship, and think of one or two things that you appreciate(d) about him or her. Trust me, it's worth it.
First, the physical.
Lots of people claim to be suckers for a pair of pretty eyes, and I'm no exception. Being Korean, my eyes are very dark brown, almost black, and I've always been a little jealous of those with light blue/green eyes. Well lucky for me, I get to stare into my SO's baby blues anytime I want. He has great eyes. Usually they're blue, but sometimes, depending on the light or what he's wearing, they're green. Either way, I love 'em. We went to a wedding a few weeks ago, and when being introduced to a family friend, she complimented him on his eyes, and turned to me and said, "Good job." I'm a lucky girl.
Now, the characteristic.
There are a lot of great things about my SO personality-wise, but one thing that I value above the rest is his ability to communicate openly and honestly with me. Honestly, girls, those Nicholas Sparks has nothing on us. I've never had anyone speak to me or compliment me in such a sincere manner. It's truly heart warming. And what's even better is that the communication doesn't stop at the lovey-dovey type stuff. If I'm having a problem or he's having a problem, I know we can talk about it, and that he'll listen to me. Again, in terms of a relationship, there isn't anything better, and has done wonders to create and strengthen the bond we share.

That's so sweet! My husband and I have been arguing a lot recently and my prediction is it has a lot to do with stress. When we're arguing, I forget why I love him so much or how much he means to me because I'm so caught up in the moment trying to win the argument. So, now is as good as time as any to help me appreciate why I love him so much.
Physical: His smile. He has a 100 watt smile that can almost make me forget and forgive whatever it is that we're arguing about.
Characteristic: Puts himself last. He's always thinking about someone's else's needs before his own and to me, that just shows me how much of a caring and loving person he is.
I'm really grateful to have him in my life :).
Aw. It feels great to vent about all of the stuff that our SO does wrong (haha), but it's even more important to take a time out and remember all the great things we love about them too!
Physical: My boyfriend has the goofiest laugh in the world. Even after hearing it a thousand times, it still cracks me up instantly.
Character: He has a very laid back, relaxed personality without being lazy. Personally, I'm a huge worrier and a nervous wreck 99% of the time, and his laid back demeanor always calms me down.
Physical: Like you, I love my SO's eyes. They are the most gorgeous eyes I've ever seen and I always stare into them whenever I get a chance.
Characteristic: I love how she's adventurous and spontaneous. She just likes to explore and it's something that I want to get myself into more.
I appreciate that the guys that I've been involved with in the past have showed me what I don't want in a future relationship. And that I don't want a relationship.
At least not for a while.
physical: his smile is too contagious
character: he thinks over things logically and keeps his emotions calmed. this helps me alot when making decisions
His eyes! He is so expressive with his eyes. I love it. especially when he sings to me.
I love his devotion to God and his family. It makes me feel very safe in my future with him.
Physical: His eyes! He has amazing blue eyes that I could look into every single moment. Gosh.
Characteristic: He has an amazing feeling of peace and comfort around him. He can make anyone smile, no matter what. He's so devoted to God too, so that makes me comfortable even more.physical: his smile - it's always there, and it never fails to bring out my smile
characteristic: his patience - he's so laid back and relaxed that nothing hardly upsets him - he can let anythign roll off his back... just having him in the same room as me calms me down instantly.

PHYSICAL- His lips. Because I love his kisses and his smile :)
CHARACTERISTIC- His "nice guy"-ness. My SO is the typical "nice guy". He will do anything and everything for you if you are his friend. No is rarely an option.
physical:prettiest eyes and tush. great smile that warms my heart.
personality: hes really funny and acts like a child at times.not in a bad way. its endearing when he sleeps and i try to wake him up he says hes taking a "naparoo" and does a puppy voice when he wants me to go out of my way to do something for him. he has a type a personality but calms me down when im really sad or mad. hes a problem solver.

Everything honestly =)
I love my SO because we can share pretty much all of our lives, from physical to emotional to spiritual. We've made it through four years of long distance, and we finally get to be in the same city this fall. I'm so excited!
My husband,
physically: His broad strong shoulders, his beautiful big eyes and juicy lips. He's just a pleasure to look at...
character: He's so laid back and easygoing, he keeps me grounded. And he is so protective of me and thoughtful... :)
Physical: I usually don't like brown eyes, but her eyes are the perfect shade of brown that I could look into forever. Of course, everything else is nice too ;)
Character: She's kind, but also blunt and not obnoxiously kind. She'll tell you straight up if something sucks about you, but she'll also tell you without hesitation when you're doing something right. Of course I could go on and on about her personality, but that's a big thing on its own :P

Physical: I'm korean too, so I know exactly what you mean about the eyes. My SO has gray/blue eyes, and they're gold in the middle, I just love them so much. Mine are just dark brown :/
Character: He goes to school about 2 hours away, and visits every other weekend, so we talk a lot on the computer and phone. He isn't really good at showing his feelings, but he tries really hard, and it's endearing. And he cares a lot about mine, so he always makes sure I'm happy. He also knows exactly how to make me laugh when I'm upset, he has my kind of humor, and he's really smart :)

physical: i LOVE his eyes. before we started dating we stared at each other a lot, and i always knew he had brownish hazel eyes, but now that i can actually get close to them and stare at them to my heart's content, i love how they always tell a story. he's a really outgoing guy and sometimes puts on a front, but when i stare into his eyes, i know exactly how he feels. and i love his smile. it's infectious.
character: he's a huge party guy, but he always takes into account how i feel. if i don't want to go out, he'll stay home and cuddle with me or do whatever. he's extremely caring and considerate, and he always has a way of making me laugh even when i don't want too. he's giving and honest, and even though he's leaving for school in august, he's making a big effort to still be near me no matter what. <3
Physically:
Beautiful smile, blue/green eyes, TALL, built very much to my liking, has a little meat and a little muscle.

I love his assertiveness and his ability to get what he wants. He is willing to argue with strangers when it comes to school or money, when it is necessary. I am more the type to avoid confrontation.
He really is a sweet talker, except his sweet talking is real. He'll tell me when I'm pretty when I dress up a bit and even when I feel like a mess. He tells me how much he loves me, and how perfect (HA!) I am, etc.
When he drops me home he ALWAYS makes sure I'm in the door before leaving.
He's the kind of guy every guy wants to be friends with.
My family loves him.
He's very intelligent and has his own passions.
We share music together.
He's very selfless.
Physical:
Always smiling, showing his two cheek dimples.Tall and a bit chubby.Muscular legs and butt muscles that can walk great distances and do other things for long periods of time ;)Double lidded light brown eyes with curvy eyelashes. I'm Chinese w/ single lidded eyes.
Characteristics:
Selfless. Always sharing what he has with me, willing to do without so that I can have it. He's the same with his family and my family too.Saves money. Willing to use coupons if it means saving money. Helps out with chores.Goes out or stays home, depending on what I want that day.Makes me laugh and willing to have others laugh at him to cheer them up.
Physical: He has the most amazing pale green eyes I've ever seen, and a great smile (although he doesn't smile nearly enough!) and soft dirty-blond hair. :) I love it.
Characteristics: He's really sweet and sensitive about how others feel, and a TOTAL romantic, he's extremely loyal and hardworking, and respects me. He never judges me when I do something stupid, he'll just hug me and tell me it's okay. And he's always there for me when I need him. :)
