50 Dates in 50 Days
I just read an article off The Province, and it mentioned about a 25-year-old woman was on a mission to have 50 dates in 50 days. Then, she would write a book based on her dating experiences. She could have 2-3 dates per day. However, she set a maximum of 2 dates per person.
She pointed out quite an interesting point. Nowadays people are too busy, too self-absorbed and spend too much time hiding behind Facebook and other electronic distractions to make real connections. I need to admit I am one of those people. Without the internet, I do not know how to spend my day. I will feel very uncomfortable. Maybe it is time for me to get like 100 dates in 100 days. That would be awesome.
Her #16 date gave her butterflies. She said that she was riding a motorcycle with him. She wrapped her arms around him and cruised down the streets. That definitely sounds like a movie scene. She met some weirdos though, such as a man who only eats the meat he kills and drinks the water he collects from a stream.
She is such a lucky girl.
She can go on dates with so many guys, and then she is going to write a book to benefit many readers. But, what if the guy she had a date with really felt the connection and wanted to have a serious relationship? I wonder if she told her dates that she was on a project, and she was not really intended to have a relationship with them... However, that might not be very real then. The guys might try to do a lot of things just to impress her, so she could have a better storyline.
What do you think? Will you buy this book if it is published? Have you ever met some weirdos? How about the most romantic date you have ever had?
I like simple dates. My most recent which I had butterflies was that we just sat down on a brench near the ocean, looking at the boats. I lied against him while both of us were sipping our coffees and talking random things. We then looked at each other and went for a kiss. haha. Afterwards, he told me I tasted like chocolate cause I was having mocha. :) That already made my day!

well, i'm doing a 356 strangers in 365 days thing and blogging about it...
The whole notion terrfies me!
Only eating meat you kill and water you get from a stream makes you a weirdo? Really? I think it makes the guy pretty awesome.
Whoa...I want to see what she looks like if she's good-looking enough to get so many dates all at once.
I think that would be an interesting book.
@LupusInvictus@xanga - that's what i was thinking!! haha
@LupusInvictus@xanga - I agree. Sadly whenever anyone goes against the grain of society they are labeled as weird....
sounds like a fun book!
I'll definitely be buying it!
sounds interesting. But it's so true... I am way too aborbed online.. and not out actually living. sigh.
I want to go on 50 dates in 50 days too... how exciting.
I've always wanted to ride a motorcycle with a guy. That sounds like an exhilarating date. :)
I'll definitely browse through it.

So true..
It definitely sounds like it would be an interesting book.
@Meowmeowkimmaee@xanga - Agree
I just hope they know they're in on it... that'd be rather fucked up. Plus whats stopping the guys shes dating to constantly call her all at once/around the same time/while shes on other dates? Shes probably one of a set of triplets and is lying about it...
thatd be great.
