I recently read about two Home Depot employees getting married..... at Home Depot. Personally, I think it's a great idea. It has sentimental value, plus it probably took a load off the wedding cost! If you're going to walk down an aisle, why not Aisle 3: Washing Machines and Shutters? I think it's fun and unique and something they will always remember.
Would you ever get married in an unconventional location if it meant something to you and your fiancee?
To name a few ideas off the top of my head:
Highschool sweethearts getting married in their old gymnasium
Flight attendants/pilots getting married in the air with a plane full of family and friends
What about two graveyard workers in love holding the ceremony at the cemetery?? (eek, that one creeped me out)
What do you think? Home Depot-esque weddings, hot or not?

My old college roommate married her husband in a convenience store where they met. My fiancé and I thought about getting married on the college campus we met at, but we decided against it since our relationship got more serious after going to school there and not while we were there. I think it's great that people can make their wedding so unique.
Nice idea, but I would rather not get married at the shop I work at.
Um, I currently work for the Census, meaning I go out in my home neighborhood. Neh.
After this, I'll be back in property accounting. The thought of a wedding in an office building is depressing. Neh.

I met my guy at an anime convention. This year at the con there was a couple of con goers getting married and I had never thought about it til then xD It would be kind of interesting to get married there. :)

Well, my boyfriend and I met while working at a water park which happens to be attached to some beautiful historical gardens! So, if we do get married, that will be on the list of where we could get hitched.
I don't think I could get married in a home depot though. Yuck.

My husband and I almost got married at the college where we met. But then we realized that it was kind of a drive for everyone else, so we decided to find something a little more local.
i would not get married in my workplace... however if there was a special place that meant something to my fiance and i then i would definitely consider it.

I think it's cute :) I'm all about creativity and individuality, in relationships and in my life, so if something is special to you both as a couple then go ahead and do whatever makes you feel good. I love this idea, personally--it seems special.
I'd love to get married on the grounds of the campus that I met my boyfriend at. They're really pretty and it's equidistant for both of our families-- I think it'd be ideal.
