  • The Little Black Book: Women Have Them Too!

Today I went to the cinema with one of my best male friends, and although the film scared me so much, I had a really nice time. Nicole, my flat mate, was having a girls night in watching chick flicks with our girl friends from another flat. When I got back they were talking about chick flicks and how true to life they AREN'T. This we all knew already, but the conversation soon turned to the guys we had spent the first year of University with - and how none of them were romantic or really worth it in the end.

We moved into the kitchen with champagne and cocktails to have some more girly talk and decided to make a "little black book" full of all the guys we had paid attention to in the first year, mainly for laughs...

Anyway, it was SUCH a good idea because it made me realize that I haven't met a guy this year that really cares for me the way I wanted them to. Some of them I didn't have high hopes for, but most of them I thought something may happen with and it just didn't.

We're going to carry it on throughout the three years we're here for (including holidays) as a sort of time-capsule, and so when we all find our "prince charming's" we can look back at all the frogs we kissed along the way.

I would also like to add that we aren't the kind of girls that have a different man back every night. We respect ourselves and this was mostly for fun :)
So I was wondering, does anyone else keep a little black book like this, and is it a good idea, or is it just living in the past?
