The Other Person's Perspective
A few days ago, I was having a chat with one of my friends over Margaritas and such.
We all know about which celebrities are in the news right now for their infidelities.
Then this question came up, I asked:
Would you hook up with your favorite celebrity if you could, knowing they are married, just because that person is a big shot celebrity?
Let's look at it from "the other person's perspective," not the cheater or being cheated on.
He said he would and he wouldn't care if that celebrity is married, that it would "up his status."
Personally, even if it is a celebrity, I think it would downgrade "the other person's" status.
It shows what kind of morals they have...rather, lack thereof.I would not hook up with my favorite celebrity knowing that person is married, but that's just me. Would you?

I would not. Morals are morals, and celebrity status (or status by association) doesn't change that.

Assuming I were in a relationship at this point, even if Zachary Quinto showed up butt-naked at my house, begging me to have sex with him, I wouldn't do it. A celebrity is still a person.

no, that's not a reputation i'd want to have. and sleeping around with someone who's THAT high-profile is GOING to come to the light, they are public people. the reputation would quickly follow.

Absolutely not, by that point if you succumb to the opportunity you can't really preach about your morals of fidelity. If you believe in being faithful then just leave others be, and find something else to do.
Well I really only want to sleep with Angelina and Brad as a pair anyway. It's not home wrecking or cheating if they are both there :D

celebrity or not, i wouldn't hook up with anyone who's married or with someone else. it's just not fair to be the one being cheated on.
