What's Your Breakup Food of Choice?
My sister's going through a rough patch with her boyfriend, and she called me tonight asking for peanut butter cookies and a nutella sandwich. That reminded me of all the times I've broken up with boyfriends, and made myself a plate of scrambled eggs. We all have our comfort foods - everyone's familiar with the image of a girl sitting on a couch eating a gallon of ice cream - and for some odd reason, having something in our belly makes our hearts feel a little better. At least, until the morning after when we realize just how much we might have eaten.
So what is your comfort food when things with your SO get rough? Or do you have other things - a stuffed animal, a shopping spree, running - that you find make you feel even a litter better after a rough break up?

Chinese food. Specifically sesame chicken.
Or Cheddar-Broccoli soup.
Anything fattening, fried, junk food, fast food.. then I gain weight and then I cry because I'm fat and bloated and no one is gonna like me anymore.
Then I recover and start eating healthy again :).
dont eat! haha
Um iron?
I don't eat when I break up or have a rough time in a relationship. I go to the gym.
All the stress relief and none of the calories. I tend to eat more and workout less when I'm in a good relationship actually.
A bottle of aspirin.
When I am going through whatever with a boy it is working out and running that helps me.
This last time though it was a combination of that and Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough has done wonders for me!
Ice cream! Agh. I generally have waaaay too much of it, too. Sometimes I won't even bother with the bowl, and I eat it straight out of the carton.
A bottle of Jack D's
I'm just going through a break up now, and I find it hard to eat anything, actually.
Some hot chocolate fudge and a big ****

Fries and ice cream. I also like walking around to clear my head.
it depends. the one time a breakup really hurt me I just stopped eating completely..I was more sleeping all the time or driving around to clear my head =/
CHOCOLATE or spending time playing songs on piano nonstop till i feel ok!haha
a nice large pizza from papa johns mmmm
@PMFoutofwater - wait wat?
@Utoppia - good for any occasion really! lol
@mcmeister89@mancouch - have to second that. I tend to be more unhealthy in the relationship rather than not.
I usually go out and get a hair cut, or dye my hair a vaguely different color. Food doesn't really do anything for me, its merely a source of energy that might be tasty at the same time.
@vegaskandigirl@xanga - That's exactly me right now. I hope everything worked out for you *hug*
Ghirardelli white chocolate
breakup food of choice??? i just did my special victory cheer/dance ^^
@TheDemonParade@xanga - yeah it took a while, but it got better.
I hope everything gets better for you as well <3
@Utoppia - I agree - sometimes there's nothing better than getting over your ex with your buddy Jack.
the only break-ups i've gone through were so messy and terrible that i never really felt like eating, if i forced myself i got sick.
so...nothing?
rum and chocolate. and eggs. lots of eggs.
something warm and greasy and delicious (french fries, mexican food, chinese) doesn't matter. Really, I like those better than sweets when I'm just a little bit upset.Â
And if I'm really upset, I eat a lot less than when I'm happy, and I don't really care what it is. Just there to keep me alive. And shopping is what makes me feel a lot better when I'm really upset (until I realize that I have no money, and just added more stress to myself lol)dance + retail therapy.
