Guys Would You Give Birth?
Hell, I know Guys we CAN'T give birth naturally, but if would you if you could?
I remember when I used to know this girl. She'd always ask me: Would you carry our children for me?
I was shocked for that split second but I knew the answer would be yes. (Given if our equipment actually worked that way). I always thought about having kids since I was in elementary school. I planned so many things for my future kids. Hopefully I don't get the very troublesome kids.
Girls ask your SO if they would bare a child for you and tell me what they say.
Guys would you(if you could) bare a child for your wife?

The "guy" in the photograph is not actually biologically a man. He is only Legally a "man". They got around the gay marriage laws by a woman having her breasts removed surgically, having hormones injected and retaining her other female organs.
The idea of "gender" is just that, a legal idea. This is the reason that same sex couples should have the right to marry. If it is only a matter of cutting off your breasts or penis and then you can do it, we live in a rather sick society...
and not for the transsexual people, for the laws we create up to attempt to define what we want our world to look like.
I would only bear a child to a man I am legally married to.
@Orlando@xanga - That's not even what this post was about. The poster probably just used the picture because it's a good photo of a person who looks like a man, who is pregnant.
The post is about whether people of the male sex (this is different from gender) would carry a baby if they had the parts, not about gay marriage. I know a lot of men who would instantly shout, "Hell, no!!" and some who would say yes because they want kids and have respect for what women have to go through.
k_lewey@xanga I am fully aware of that, and the author does not choose the photo, the people at Datingish attach a stock image to a submitted post if there isn't one or if they prefer to change it.
I use any and every opportunity to provide free information to the ignorant.
9 out of 10 people walking the streets of this country could not tell you why this man is not biologically a man and why he is legally a man and what this situation indicates.
the post is a rather pointless "would you if you could" question which basically boils down to a "what do you think" about a theoretical and impossible situation and I have no interest in anyone else's asshole opinion thank you very much.
If guys could carry a child, they'd be a girl.
It's hard to ask a guy if he would carry a child because by default he would probably have a different hormonal make up about him. The proper hormones and chemicals required to carry a child would change his personality and he would act more like a female. He would also look more like a female because those same hormones would change his body physically. Just like they do for male to female transgender people. So in other words he would be a female.
So in other word, if a guy says "no" he wouldn't. You can't really blame him for saying that because both his mind and body are not set up for it.
The better question is why are you stupid people having more children for emotional reasons anyway when the planet is overburdened and your offspring are eventually going to starve to death.
i'd have to agree with orlando on this one. this is a silly question. any guy could easily say yes because it would be a responsibility he would never have to live up to. it's like asking if we all sprouted wings tomorrow, would you fly? um yea i guess.
This has got to be the most pointless post in the history of datingish.

@PMFoutofwater - Ahaha. Probably.
On topic though. Would I "carry" the baby. Sure. I'll take it for the 9months. But birthing the baby? Yeah I don't think that's something my penis could recover from, even with surgery.
A guy having a baby is just weird in itself. Maybe because I never seen an actual real man baring a child. Let's just keep it to women having kids.
@roxics@xanga - I completely agree! I love Justin, just the way he is. I wouldn't want him to become anymore feminine. Of course I'd be flattered if my fiance wants to carry my child for me, but that's just weird, & would change everything, not to mention that's a special bonding time for mother & child, I would miss out on, & to me "being pregnant" is the best part. I wouldn't want that taken from me unless I couldn't bear a child.
This isn't a bad post it's a just a ?. I have no idea why people are taking it out of context.

LOL...my SO said he would but I think that's a trick.
I guess this question isn't really for me, being transgendered and all, but if I could I totally would. It's my greatest regret that I will never have a uterus.
it's not like there are any consequences to saying yes, so of course that's what any guy with half a brain should and would say
The guy I'm dating said "only if they film it and I'm sporting 70's bush like in the documentaries "
I think thats a yes
@Orlando@xanga - aww you have such a bright, shiny outlook on life.
your cynicism beats mine into the ground...
i think some people are looking into this question way more then it was meant to be. Its not about men cant becasue their anatomy isnt correct. Its just simply.. would you do it. i dont think most guys would say yes, just bc most women compain about it. But i think in the end, after a woman has a baby, the father probably would go back and say yes, just because of that empotional bond that mothers have with their child. fathers dont get that connection
that "man" in the picture doesn't even have a penis
@Orlando@xanga - lawl, oh aren't you cool.
With the way our technology has been exponentially progressing, we'll be colonizing space before global starving is an issue. And they have the technology and ability to end world hunger, really, no one's just taking the time out to actually do it. The $ is all that matters. A telescope that NASA is currently building, which will be ready in a couple years, will be able to pinpoint exosolar planets. Spectrographing them will show their chemical signatures and thus allow us to deem if they're habitable or not.
Yeah, it's far away to *us*, our lifetime probably won't see it...but really? Despite the fact that we all love to get worked up over our petty little problems and 'our world is so horrible' propaganda, this really is the dawn of mankind. Assuming that we don't blow eachother up (and I believe that Mututally Assured Destruction stops that from seriously happening) the scientists and nerds are gonna save the day. Whoo.
I say let's start using stem cell (y'know, the kind without the embryos) research to grow pancreases and cure diabetes. But man, what do I know. -__- Gotta love the cynicism of some of these people.
I doubt my boyfriend seriously would, to be honest. I'll be the baby oven when the time comes.
Do you really have to ask?
While I understand that many of the females responding think it's just too easy for a guy to say, "Yes, I'll do it", how many women will honestly admit that they do/will go through the burdens that men go through?
The average amount of children sprung in a family is at ~~ 2.4-2.8 (statistics I've read differ a little). The point is I'd sincerely and seriously would give child birth 2 or 3 times as opposed to having to have the disadvantages men have in society.
Hell, you get 3 months maternity (or in this case it would be paternity) leave; If you're in some countries, you get a whole year off.
@tousle@xanga - Haha there are no consequences for saying, "Yes" but there are definitely consequences for saying, "No".
whats with the ridiculous responses?
I honestly don't know if I'd want to bear a child for 9 mo.s or at all
Id want my guy to love me and our future children enough to bear the children or at least truly intend to if he could
