I haven't gotten any action in a long time: Too long. Sex is all I can think about and dream about. Now I might just head over to the nearest frat on campus next Friday to get my fix, but I'm not that kind of girl. I'm the girl who's never been to a party with alcohol in college, who spends Friday nights in the dorm lounge with friends, who, when she tried alcohol for the first time, spewed out strings of curse words and thought she was bad-ass. I dream of being a rebel but I'm so laughably not.
Anyways, I was chatting with my girlfriend the other day about the lack of sex in my life and half-jokingly brought up the idea of making my ex-boyfriend (who I hardly talk to anymore) drive over for sex. She was horrified. "Why would you give your body up like that?!"
I was pretty irritated. I told her that I wasn't "giving up" anything. I wanted sex, and his body is capable, so I wanted to use it as a means to my own ends. He's the only guy I've ever had sex with, and at least there would be no surprises and we'd know the drill since we've had experience together. I have no intention of ever dating him again or becoming friends since I think he's unfit for either situation. I asked her if he'd be "giving up his body" if he called me one day out of the blue and said "Sex. Now." but she bluntly told me that because I'm not a guy, having sex was self-condescending.
I know traditionally girls are expected more than guys to make themselves hard-to-get, and 99% of the time I actually love denying boys' advances, but logically I see no reason why this blatant sexism makes sense.
Why should a girl with a strong sexual drive be considered a slut?

In this country, that type of sexism is rampant. Each girl is supposed to be a vixen in the bedroom but if she does give it up then she's a slut. Personally I don't follow those type rules. You obviously have control over your desires. Don't worry about what other people think.
Go have sex. There is no such thing as a slut. Sex is as natural as going to the bathroom. Just be safe and use a condom.

I don't think any amount of sex defines a slut. I think it is when the person (male or female) is ignorant of their actions and hold a cocky attitude to it.

I think calling up the ex just for sex sucks, unless he has absolutely no feelings for you anymore, otherwise it's just toying with him. Other than that, I'm not sure what I consider a slut. I guess if you sleep with multiple people just to sleep with them on the same day I'd call you a slut...but dunno.
I was just talking about this with my friend (what makes someone a slut). I think sleeping around doesn't automatically do it, but taking advantage of the other person (saying that you want a relationship, that it's something more than it is, etc) or trying to manipulate something out of it/out of the other person using sexuality, does make you one. Guy or girl. But that's just my opinion and to each their own.
