Am I Half of a Virgin?
I read the post on half-virgins, and what being a half-virgin means that was posted a while ago. Found it very interesting, but I had a new theory on half-virgins to add to it.
I am not bi-sexual... just bi-curious. I am not not sexually attracted to the same sex, but I like to kiss and cuddle with them. I love physical contact. I've never had a boyfriend, not because I haven't wanted to, but because my job and my school take priority and leave little time for a relationship, and also because I haven't met someone I want to date who also wants to date me. I have kissed boys before, and I liked it. It definately turned me on. I've kissed girls, and I also liked that, but it didn't arouse me. I've never had sex with a boy. I have gone all the way with a girl. It was good, it lasted a long time... but I'm neutral about repeated the experience. It was more of a drunken experiment for me than anything.
So, technically, as I see it, I've done it with a girl. For a girl, I'm no longer a virgin. But my cherry hasn't been popped, so to speak, so to be with a guy, I'd be a virgin. Half-virgin, much?

There is no such thing as half a virgin.
I've never understood virginity in a non-heterosexual sense. Basically, it seems like until you have straight sex, you're still a virgin.
i really have trouble taking the half-virgin thing seriously. once you have sex with either gender your virginity is gone.
Imo you're still a virgin.
But I guess that's how I see it because you haven't slept with a man.
Hahaha, what? I think there are various definitions for "virgin." But, I believe that when you do anything sexual with another being, regardless of gender, you are no longer a virgin. For example, oral sex. I believe that if a girl goes down on another girl it's basically sex. Since women obviously can not penetrate one another, unless they own strap-ons, or other toys. Actually, I think that nearly anything that stimulates me enough to make me orgasm could be considered sex. But, that's just me...
everyone always claims "virginity" is up to the person. only you can decide when you "officially" lost it. idk why people say that...
What the hell is a half-virgin?
Virginity is one of those things that is defined by the population... people believe different things. Some people would say you were a "half virgin" while some people would say sex is sex... it can get complicated... especially with things like homophile relationships and small things like masterbation... it would safe to say that you are no longer virginal just for the simple reason that you have experenced full stimulation via another body.... at least that is how I would take it...
well...half virginity doesnt really make sense now does it. you cant be a half jew? you cant be a half skinny? so i really doesnt make sense to be a half virgin unless half you cherry is popped, lol...and that doesnt even make sense. Just my opinion, but i dont think having half of your virginity is possible.
By definition you're still a virgin. But the term doesn't quite fit today's world anymore. If you feel that you've lost your virginity, maybe you have. But hetero- and homosexual sex is extremely different.
Interesting discussion. I am not so sure that anyone can be a half-virgin but have absolutely no idea what would truly constitute losing your virginity in this situation. From a purely medical standpoint I guess it would be whether the Hymen is intact. LOL

You can decide what virginity means to you; however, in my opinion, you are not a virgin. Your sexual experience with a partner of the same sex was not meaningless. Are you saying all non-heterosexual women who have never been with a man are all virgins? If so, you might like to tell them that. I'm sure they need to know that their sexual relationships were pointless.
Your hymen does not have to be broken in order to be considered a non-virgin. Hymens rip and tear for no damn reason and are not a true indicator of virginity or lack thereof. You really shouldn't worry over this though. Virginity is not as big a deal as many would have you believe.
If speaking biologically, then you could still be a virgin, but there aren't many women nowadays w/ intact hymen due to active lifestyles.
Virginity should be about sex: did you have sex or not? You did. So that means you're no longer a virgin.
If it's just kissing and cuddling, then it's not sex. But you admitted that you've gone all the way with a girl.
To me, once you've done sexual activities with someone, then you're no longer a virgin. I think almost everyone agrees with this statement. But which "sexual activities" that push it past the line from just making out to sex is what differ from person to person.
You haven't been penis popped. But you're obviously bisexual since you had sex with another girl.
It's hard to say how it works with two girls. If I were a virgin and had slept with a guy and stuck my penis up with ass, would you still consider me a virgin? Probably not. But with two girls it does indeed seem different.
I'm not sure I would call it half virgin, but from my perspective as a guy, I would say that you are still a virgin. Like if we got married and that was your only sexual experience up until that point, I would consider you a virgin.
What don't you understand about the term "sex"?
To my understanding, that's what happens when someone uses either a dildo or a penis to stick inside your vag.
You're not a half-virgin, you just haven't had a dick inside you yet.
You're not a virgin.
Apologize in advance if these seems harsh. No flaming please.
Once you had sex with either a dildo, woman or man, you're not a virgin anymore.
You are NOT a virgin. By the logic of some of the commenters above, lesbians would remain virgins all their lives. Mind you, I count a girl accidentally brushing my arm to my NUMBER, so I'm not the best person to comment...

imo you're not a virgin. either way you look at it, you still went all the way with a girl, maybe just not a guy.
@Starlite - Hahaha sex with a dildo does not count! If it did, would you also count fingers, carrots, an exhaust pipe?
@CrimsonxIllusion@xanga - i agree.
you're either a virgin or your not. half virginity doesnt make any sense. i'm completely straight. but since ive had sex with a man and not a woman does that make me a half virgin too? NO! so why should there be double standards? it doesnt matter if it was a drunken escapade or not, when you have sex, regardless of whether its a girl or a guy, you can't claim virginity anymore. sorry.
@PMFoutofwater - you mean you never have sex with woman AND a dildo before?? whatever.
No such thing as only having half of your virginity left. Once you have sexual intercourse, it's gone, sweetie. It might have not meant much to you, but that doesn't mean it didn't count. Sorry.
i don't understand. how do you go all the way with a girl?
@Meowmeowkimmaee@xanga - Well you have to stick something up her front bum - tongues, dildos and exhaust pipes all count.

Well, if you want to be technical, if you went all the way with a girl, that would include her fingering you, right? In which case you're hymen breaks, and voila - you're no longer a virgin.
This doesn't mean that if you shove a tampon up there, you lose your virginity, but that a sexual act which involves something up in your vajayay is basically losing your virginity.
