Foot Fetish
My boyfriend and I have been dating for 5 months. We started out as best friends and he has been with me through everything. Before dating me, however, he was dating one of my best friends.
However to the main topic.
A few weeks after my boyfriend and I started dating he informed me that he has a "foot fetish." At first, yes I can admit I was extremely weirded out. It gets kind of annoying when he asks to tickle my feet and I say no and he gets all grouchy. By now I am more used to it and more accepting. It's still kind of a weird concept, but whatever floats your boat.
It just gets annoying when he wants to play tickle torture or hear me laugh. It's like umm if I know your tickling me I am not going to laugh. So I guess where I am going with this is...
Have you ever been in a relationship where your significant other had a foot fetish or any other fetish? How did you react when they told you? Did it overrule when you two hooked up? Any sort of information you wish to include.

I hate feet. They disgust me, no matter the gender, age, what-have-you of the person. I couldn't even look at the picture because it grossed me out so much.
I have no idea why I have this irrational fear/hatred of feet.
So, in summary, I'll never be in a relationship with someone who has a foot fetish.
@quicksandbuddy@xanga - That is EXACTLY how I feel. I can't stand feet at all. They're so gross and misshapen. Anyone near me has to be wearing at LEAST socks. I'm not sure why I'm so horrified.
My boyfriend doesn't have a fetish, necessarily, but he really, really likes biting. Not nibbling, full on biting. Like, hard-enough-to-draw-blood biting. It drives him crazy.

Oh god. I can't stand feet and when my last boyfriend (we broke up for reasons other than his fetish) told me that he had a foot fetish I nearly died. I hate hate hate having my feet touched, but it seemed to mean so much to him so I let him have at it. It actually made me like my feet more because he was so into them, but sometimes it would just get annoying, like we'd be watching a movie at my place and he'd want me to place my feet on his lap instead of cuddle with me during it.
Eh, I'm with you on the "whatever floats your boat" but I got some weird sexual requests from him too with my feet. Totally an odd experience, but when you're a couple I think you have to have an open mind with and for each other.
Well... *ahem* here's something most people here might not know (or want to have known) about me, but hell, I'll just say it... I'm the fetishist in my relationship.
Fetishist or not, us guys (usually) like to tickle our SO's and make them laugh. I understand the predicament that it puts you in, however, when he wants to do it with you knowing about it - that's part of the fetish. There are whole communities of people on the internet that get on message boards and talk about this stuff, and even hook up with like-minded people via the internet. Well, guess what... He wants YOU to be that person, he wants YOU to at least somewhat enjoy what he does to you, and if you don't, he's going to feel like he's not getting what he wants from his sex life. Trust me; been there, done that, no fun! You need to communicate; either make an effort to like it and make it less weird and more desirable for him, or let him know that it just isn't working out for you, and figure things out from there - but communicate with him by all means, or things could get super ugly.

if he wants to kneel down and kiss my feet like a slave, go ahead. sucking on my toes is gross, no way. tickling is okay but not all the time. if I'm sleeping and he suddenly tickles my feet, that is very annoying. I'd prefer that he doesn't have a foot fetish though.

It freaks me out. I've always been this way.
So in saying that, no I have never been in a relationship with someone who has a foot fetish. I don't think I could do that.

oh man I have a lot to share about this. okay, my ex had a foot fetish, so I think. He always had to have my feet near his face...ALWAYS.
